Your fender removal change is like, you remember the taste of something but couldn't specify it and once you get to see it then you go like, damnnn! That's what i wanted.!!
I have installed fuelx on my himlayan 450 and it really improved low end throttle response and jerkiness, not much difference in the top end. I changed air filter to way2speed one and did not feel much of difference and decat pipe just increased the sound and i am not liking it, thinking to go back to stock setup for now and may be full system later
A very good video with precise analysis. I have now driven just over 1000 km, a good 800 of them with my wife. The chassis is excellent, beating all the enduro bikes I've owned in over 50 years. The engine needs a bit of revving, then it's really good, but it's not a long-stroker that has steam from the lowest revs. And, it is sensationally economical. A really good motorcycle, regardless of the price.
Lovely review Ben! As you mentioned that you tour a lot with your wife, has she complained about the pillion seat being hard or have you faced the need to add a layer of cushion on the stock seat ?
Just started getting familiar riding mine. Having a problem with break peddle height, toes are resting there without feeling it, except the drag. Will try adjusting. Feels like I might need bar risers, 20mm perhaps. Have the seat in the high position & my long legs still feel a bit cramped, will remove the rubbers. Tyre pressure, 32psi seem a tad high. Yes, right for highways, but I love dirt back roads & plan for them. Paid for sump/engine guards and a taller screen a month ago, no word yet. Here in Australia the price is doubled, feeling a bit "had". Love the fuel injection, don't expect the snappiness like my KLX400e even though they produce the same hp & the 400 pulls so hard even off idle, at the cost of k/lt. I'm a happy chappy & glad to send my money there rather than China. Cheers from downunder....🖖
Mmmm I have a suggestion that you will get the torque you want if you happen to install Fuel X Pro. Correct me on that and share your opinion thanks mate..
So due to that revvy nature only I'm getting engine knocking issue at low speeds in 4,5th gears. And I heard xp95 is recommended for 450 is it really worth using it?
Bro need your opinion on something , Would this be a wise choice if I have to commute daily in Bangalore traffic considering the weight and mileage on city!
No mention of the vibes in dislikes? Have they gone as you have put miles on the motorcycle? When I test rode a 450 the vibes were so bad that I got numb fingers after less than ten miles, even took a second test and found the same so cancelled my order of 450. I would love to know if this is still a problem for you? Thanks Ben
brother ben use the new fuel x pro . i think it will solve the throtle response problem .... well thats what i have hured . i am a fan for your og ben 411.. waiting to buy a mint 411 and made the same modifications
What’s with the video in India of the claim on a broken frame on the 450 true or false whats Royal enfeilds reaction to this would like to know ,we need clarification on this video ,
royal enfield replaced both bikes with broken frames (close to 50'000 have been delivered to date) despite the owners breaking it themselves by unmounting the engine from the frame, despite the engine being part of the frame, to mount aftermarket crash bars with the wrong torque, washers, etc. This company will give you a new bike despite you breaking it due to your own stupidity.
Been a fan for a long time, but sometimes I can't help but feel that you are out of touch with reality. A normal customer shouldn't have to retighten all the nuts and bolt of a 3 lakh rupees bike that he just bought. Or have to touch up their bad paint jobs. Maybe it works in a vacuum, but when we have other manufactures producing quality products for far less money, bad practices like this need to be called out. Creators like you need to hold bands accountable. Otherwise, you just come off as fan-boyish and biased. If my memory serves right, you made a video where you swore the 411 had no fueling issues and claimed it was caused because people didn't know how to ride the bike properly(?). Turns out it did have a fueling issue after all Love you and your content, man, I really hope you take this as some constructive feedback and continue making great content. Cheers
Totally agree with you. Company should hold accountable for their assembly line faults. Now a days I feel RE taking their loyal fan base customer for granted. They just want to increase their revenue and not properly maintaining quality of production line, increased parts prices also significantly
All machines manufactured in india have some issue or the other which makes the owner scratch their heads. While those manufactured abroad and imported into india dont have problems on daily.running, but do have spares availability and service center availability as enough issues to keep the owners on their toes.
@@vijayshankar99 yes I agree . Made in India is CHEAP LABOUR . That is the problem . Pay people well and anyone will develop work place ethics , values and principles
