I don’t know how anyone wants to vote for Starmer regardless of what the Tories have done. What Starmer has done and facilitated whilst not even in power is dictatorial and absolutely terrifying.

The removal of Sky's interview with Starmer where he states that he had spoken with the Israeli PM prior to the vote in Parliament speaks volumes, too.

I marched with Orthodox Jews Muslims and christians on the free Palestine 🇵🇸 march when thugs were at the Cenotaph! I a 68 year old white woman was allowed to hold the big flag as we marched . Everyone on the march were just so lovely children showed me their drawing asking for a cease fire ! These leaders of the two parties in government don’t have the moral courage these little children have let alone the grown ups on that march! I am so ashamed of this government and labour! It teaches us who had the power it’s not the people of this country that’s for sure!

Tony Blair broke the county's back. Labour should never be forgiven for that man.

These people know full well that pro-Palestine does NOT mean pro-Hamas or even anti-Israel. Wanting an end to the killing of innocent civilians, on both sides, is a basic expression of human decency.

I have no connection to Islam or even Muslim people, but I deeply sympathize with than Palestinians and think all humanitarian loving people would be out protesting this disgusting genocide.

As a non Muslim who was mistaken as one (presumably because I'm a bearded PoC) by an outraged gammon outside the vandalized offices of my local Labour MP, who repeatedly asked me to justify my presence in the street, before informing me that 'your kind shouldn't bite the hand that feeds', I can attest to the real world consequences of such inflammatory rhetoric.

Thank you SO much, Peter, for articulating so well the bile, bigotry and downright bloody CRUELTY of our politicians. MPs are supposed to work together for the NEEDS of their respective CONSTITUENTS - their job is NOT to work together merely to fulfill their OWN self-absorbed, narrow minded needs! Our whole political system needs to change - for the good of the PEOPLE ❤

As a law abiding UK Muslim who has nothing but served the UK society for over half a century, the past few weeks have brought incredible fear and anguish. I went on my very first protest in late October 2023.. I’m 72 years old.. I went on my own not knowing anyone around me.. I had to show my disgust at what Israel is doing to the Palestinians.. I’ve marched weekly ever since.. and will do so till we stop the killing in Gaza..I’ve never been political.. but I’m learning about Israel/Palestinian conflict over the years.. I never knew.. to my shame.. I never knew any Muslims until more recently there has never been any antisemitism or hate shown on any of the marches I’ve been on.. lots of kindness and heartfelt solidarity with Palestine.. we the ordinary people of the world want this genocide stopped.. and Freedom for All Palestinians.. no more occupation in Gaza.. The politicians to wake up.. do our bidding as they are paid to do.. END THE SUFFERING OF PALESTINIANS, CEASEFIRE NOW PERMANENTLY

For me one event stands out, what the hell is Starmer doing speaking to the President of the foreign nation under discussion in Parliament - moments before the motion is raised. I'm an old fashioned international Socialist and this action is rotten to the core.

As a Tory party hater - I'm terrified when I consider the evil that Labour will do with a large majority.

Where is the government of the people, by the people, for the people. The current lot at Westminster have gone rogue, but this has been happening for decades. As Erich Fromm says: I paraphrase, if we pick the least worst option when we vote, we still end up in the same place eventually. Wake up Scotland!

Starmer is supposedly a human rights lawyer. So far he has shown that he's a politician for the highest bidder.

Yet another reason for Scotland to leave the UK, we should pull all the Scottish MPs out of Westminster.

I've written to Starmer and Lindsay Hoyle to ask where is the evidence to support their assertions, but over 60 years, one thing I've learnt about politicians is that they are excellent at not answering the question. I won't be voting for any party that has not called for a ceasefire in plain English.

I am a British born from British mother and Egyptian father, lived in Egypt for 17 years since I was 2 years old, and experienced the dictatorship of Mubarak era, and when I came back to UK, I genuinely thought I would experience something I didn't experience in Egypt, which fairness and freedom, and the very basic rights. Damn! Was I wrong? The more I live in the UK, the more I learned that the corruption, inequalities, and the criminality of this state are beyond what I experienced in Egypt. At least in Egypt, people some who were looking up for each other, while in this fxxked up country the hatred, and division between people is far beyond and extreme especially when the administration is supporting, and arming crimes, where I know I have no choise but to be aware that my Tax if funding this shit, and on the top of that this fxxin administration serve only certian category of people! I have never been ashamed to be british than now. The anger and the depression this administration has caused me in beyond comprehension! I have now left with witnessing a genocide fold in front of my eyes and experience the frustration that I can do nothing to help. Or even avoid thinking about it. It really changes the way I see life in general. Sometimes, I think what the fxxkin of point being a life among the world that watch criminality and spend all their resources to justify, support it, and even attack those who speak out. I really lost all hope and pleasure to look forward to the future in a more optimistic way as I used to be. Hoyle's father founded 'Friends of Israel'...so I don't think he needed K. Starmer to 'threaten' him. I bet they all met in a room after phone calls from Tel Aviv to work together for the good of Israel. Sunak, Starmer and Hoyle are all in it together. Sunak making a fortune for his wife's company Infosys in Govt contracts and the $1.5 Billion IT contract for work related to the Gaza Marina Oil & Gas project - which Netanyahu has set up an office called 'Offshore Tech' i believe for. They are all in some way closely connected to Israel so anything remotely bad for Israel will get shelved one way or another.

And I must say the utter disgust in the tone of Anderson as he says the Mayor of London’s surname and the sheer “I want to be head prefect and Daddy’s favourite” dumbarsery of Truss combined with the little man mentality of RS and unhinged pomposity of SB is just the first drips of the shower of shit that is the Tory and Labour parties.

It must be so difficult for Starmer, whose wife is Jewish, and with their children being raised in the Jewish faith, to be objective on Gaza, and indeed on the entire Muslim community. How ironic is it that, in single-mindedly pursuing their course of action, Starmer and other extremists in Israel are actually making it less safe for the Jewish diaspora.

The Parliamentary system in the UK absolutely stinks. Just imagine Mr Keir Starmer, Wes Streeting and David Lammy sharing a house next door to you followed by Raynor and Lisa Nandy sharing a house on the other side with Margaret Hodge and Thornberry living directly across the road...the stench would be unbearable...

For years the Palestinians were living a life unlike our own with the Israelis directing their every move. Did anyone know how bad the situation was until after the 7th of October, when Israel showed all its colours.
