The Savage Mill Mall in historic Savage, MD is a very interesting place. Located in an old mill it dates back to the early 19th century. It is kinda of a frankenmall in its layout, with a main section that is totally decked out in wood paneling tops sides and bottom then hallways that snake into the back areas with ancient, some say haunted walls. There's a cool bar right in between the 2 drastically different areas so that kinda of breaks the pace up a little bit. Behind the complex there is a really cool walking trail that follows a creek full of rapids, plenty of fisherman abound. There's even a remnant of the old railroad bridge that would supply the mill and vice versa. All in all a really cool repurposing of a historically protected site and a great way to spend the afternoon and evening.
