The Boruto timeskip has finally arrived with Boruto chapter 81/Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 1. So, I'm going to talk about the new powers Boruto could have obtained during the timeskip.
Boruto doesn’t own a byakugan. He has a Jōgan. That dojutsu will have three other eye powers within it.. Sharingan, Byakugan, rinnegan. It’s said to be the rarest eye dojutsu because it’s only for Otsutsuki members, but since Boruto has both DNA from Hagaromo and Hamura from Naruto and Hinata. He had, well before Momoshiki, the perfect match up for it. And now he’s basically 100% pure otsutsuki DNA he probably will have full control over it in due time. I get that it was a mistake to draw him with byakugan but the Jōgan is far better. Looks cooler too. Also it will be nice to see what abilities he has all together.
@@sazamiuchiha2308 not a theory. It’s basically stated in the anime. Jōgan is a broken dojutsu. I’m pretty positive that this isn’t a theory and that is purely canon. He can see chakra pathways, this is shown when Sumire’s animal Nue went crazy. They explored that, even the teleportation (dimension hopping) also explore in that filler/arc, He can read movements with the eye like a sharingan. He used it against momoshiki with a rasengan. It’s honeslty a broken eye dojutsu. There. Just have to watch the anime and actually watch the fillers.
I think the answer to why Momoshiki's soul looks like his base & not fused form is due to the chakra fruit. We know it is the life of a planets massive energy & the living genetic data of it's inhabitants. The chakra fruit updates an otsutsuki's physical body but not it's soul & my reasoning is Shibai. The chakra fruit evolved him past it's bodies physical limit so it's next phase is through the soul. Isshiki told code to evolve until you become a unique existence Amado said after countless evolution he no longer need a physical body so he became a higher existence a soul.
Good point, glad you brought this up because I've been wondering about his abilities too, especially if he'll inherit/manifest Momoshiki's Rinnegan. I want to know why Boruto hasn't, since he has Momoshiki's official karma seal, unlike Kawaki who has an altered form of Isshiki's karma seal and inherited the full power of Isshiki (probably even more abilities that we haven't seen Jigen use or couldn't use + more powerful versions of those powers that could be even stronger than Isshiki's). So if that's the case then Boruto should DEFINITELY inherit Momoshiki's Rinnegan & Rinnegan abilities, other powers we've seen him use + all of Kinshiki's powers since Momoshiki absorbed him (though I can understand if they leave out the Kinshiki part because that'd be OP). But it'd be idiotic to not have Boruto at least have some of those powers, and a huge plot hole that will ultimately cause issues. Neglecting semi-important things that could advance the story further in a interesting way (forgetting rules & powers they already established), it'd surely turnoff a good portion of fans. Can't just act like certain things didn't happen, if it happened for Kawaki, then it should definitely happen to Boruto. Hopefully they address this and remember the potential Boruto has from just being Momoshiki's vessel, not mistreating the character's potential like they did to Sasuke who most definitely should've been able to utilize his 6-tomoe Rinnegan/MS-hybrid to the fullest extent. Which he didn't and was such a waste, truly a huge disappointment, how could a non Uchiha like Nagato properly utilize Madara's Rinnegan like it was his own, so naturally, almost utilizing all the Rinnegan's abilities and powers, but Sasuke's dumba$$ couldn't lmao (seriously, why hasn't he used each paths abilities)?! It's either bad writing, laziness or just plain mentally retarded smh. They did Sasuke dirty and I'm nervous they'll do the same to his mini me (aka imitation) his disciple Boruto too. Might be a curse, I can see them mistreating Boruto's character already so I'm not holding my breath that they'll handle it responsibly smh.
Sasuke's sword is not the strongest and that's not even the same sword from Shippuden that one burned up in the lava dimension if we're talking physical weapons it's probably orochimaru's since it has the ability to cut through almost anything. Boruto learning Kirin would make sense if he knew fire style. Chidori makes sense simply because he already uses a knockoff version of it during the chunin exams, and with the jōgan's kinetic vision, it's possible.

I want to know why does momoshiki use borutos techniques.. Like they are the new hotness.... So the last time they had this kind of upgrade they were using swords..... Think about what happened when kaygua was here....isshiki Didn't have a problem conquering girls people.... So I think the whole time he was in jigen He was learning how to fight But he only needed to do The bare minimum... I think that is why they are trying to get the chakra back.... Reset the seed bed.. For supreme beings they never thought to use it like Humans.... A 1000 years of experience?.. Seems like a bunch of powerful dumbasses to me😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
