The number 1 misconception around filming travel videos is people assume you spend every moment on a pretty beach somewhere & I think its equally important to take you on the crazy rollercoaster and also discuss some of the mental battles in making videos. Don’t wish to be negative BUT right now there is about 10 travel videos all talking about travelling the Broome and Ningaloo coast. This is getting too much exposure. As an experienced 4WD travel guide, now retired, the issue that we all need to remember is; “ Tourism in excess destroys the very reality of what the tourists come to see and do” Scale it back and protect some special places by not revealing the actual location, so only the most independent and capable travellers find these locations. Fraser Island, Coffs Harbour hinterland, the Victorian high country, Stockton Beach, etc , etc are good examples of turning great locations into Bunnings car parks minus the sausage sizzle tent. Remember TreadLightly and keep it low key and clean

Always a great laugh watching your videos Sarah and Keelan. We have never done a filming competetion but have done the Barra Nationals a few times and always came back with lots of good memories. The fishing was great but the memories last forever. Keep the videos coming at your own pace.
