The most amazing thing about all these conventions...all these cosplayers...is that it doesn't matter where you're from, what you do, what walk of life you come from....the moment you put on your costume and step into that room filled with people who are doing all the same thing....you're family. You're all doing what you love. And that's what amazes me about that community.
I've missed your videos in the past two years, so I wanted to return to my old favortie :,) We miss you so much. Ive seen this video a million times over the past 7 years. Its inspired so much of who i am. My music taste, life philosophy, and a love for cosplay and cons!!! Thanks so much, Boogie.
This is the most amazing thing ever. Watching this I cried. It shows how so many people who come from so many backgrounds can come together and share interests, good times, and good memories. I attended DragonCon last year and for once in my life, I didn't feel alone. All these people who I don't know, I was able to relate to and have conversations with about our common interests. It didn't matter if I was dressed in some messy looking cosplay, I felt at ease. I met some wonderful people and finally came to realize that we all act upon what we love, and that's what brings people together in the best way. Thank you for this video, and thank you all cosplayers alike.
why can't they be like this now? The cons always look like big fun, especially the videos of the "Dragon Con" in Atlanta - thousands of people enjoying the cosplay, dancing, smiling, boozing it up and in general just having a great time?!

Now the people just go for the "Hey look my cos it's better, follow me on Ig" or a bunch of OF model girls looking for simps ((what it's ok, but dude now everything it's about sell yourself as an OF Model, instead of just go and have fun)) I remember that in the past, the childrens got more attention, and we make the events more like "cosplayers having fun, and acting like the character", and that fascinates the kids, and we all have so much fun and in the end of the day was so exhaustive but satisfying that you can't with all those emotions. Now it's like a "hey let's go to see sum gurls", and that's it. I really miss those golden days dude

I was there at Dragon-Con this year. It was my first Con. I had a blast and I'm amazed at how much people love these Con and the work they put into their costumes. I may have to go again next year.
I was just going through some old stuff and found this promo card from the BeatDownBoogie guys. It must have been 6-10 years ago I ran into them at DragonCon and they handed me this picture of them as Modern War Gear and I figured I’d keep it and check out their channel sometime. I don't think people respect cosplayers enough. They make these elborate costumes, back them up and take them to where ever the conventon is. wear them all day and still manage to be the most badass people out there. I want to make costumes for a living because of cosplay but i am told that i am wasting my talent. Not only would i be making art. i am bring awesome characters to life and its wearable. were that shit till you hate them you will still wear it again cause it so badass.

Another year another really really long dragon con video watched and loved. Every year I get excited hell giddy even and every year I walk away with a smile across my face and warm tears down my cheeks. My ultimate dream is one day seeing the really really long dragon con video being filmed in person. Until then I wait for next years with joyous anticipation and excitement. I cannot lay claim to a people except for my people of the cons. So let us rejoice and celebrate all we are. Till next your beatdownboogie.

10:52 Cosplaying as Joel/Mike with Crow and Servo props that are in turn all cosplaying as other characters is the best and most meta costume concept I've ever seen. This guy is legend.

HOLY CRAP! This video had some of the BEST Cosplay I've EVER seen! :D And I've seen a LOT of cosplay videos. OMG! That was awesome! Do random cosplay dance parties like the one from 1:27-4:25 break out like that at Dragoncon all the time? If so, I am SO there! :D LOL! And I would've TOTALLY lost it if I was among that group of Asari cosplayers, lol. So freaking awesome. I DEFINETLY gotta hit up Dragoncon one of these years :)
It just kept going and going and going... flippin awesome! The Transistor cosplay was cool to see, been wanting to make that sword on the CNC router at work. Also, for all the Guardians cosplay, didn't catch anyone going as Yondu, which is just saying to me I really need to consider going as him for some eventual first outing cosplaying...
Okay, it was emotional, but I could hold my tears back. After he came up with that engagement ring I cried. Too long. Out of joy. You alle are so wonderfull people.

I would love to say I just watch your videos just for the costumes and cons, but you always seem to put them to the best music. Every time I watch one of your videos my music collection inevitably grows. How do you find the time to find such awesome tunes? P.S. Dammit can't find the Epic by soundandvision anywhere :p

u been to comic con and I'll tell you what. it does look nerdy but you will meet the coolest and nicest people there. I went as deadpool and I was constantly getting pics from other people
