On the way to the jail the police had to return because someone was shot on the front steps. After that the House of Wills was sued for wrongful death on private property. So this house has a unique past and future. Built by a 33rd degree Freemason, served as a German opera hall, owned by a black businessman when blacks didn't have rights yet, family sued because of a murder, and now its owned by a Satanic priest. Sounds like a movie plot to me. Show me some love and smash that like button.

So many of these "deserted house" stories leave me thinking, "gee, if only this place could be restored ..." But not this one. Completely creepy, uninviting, and repellent, both inside and out.

Doesn't it drive you absolutely Bonkers to see such a neat house rotting? I know it cost a pretty penny to make the house look like that on the inside today would cost more than the average person could afford. I love the eclectic and eccentric art that people of the olden days had. Art Nouveau is one of my favorites for sure. Gotta Love The Roaring Twenties! Urbex Dane....I've been into a lot of odd places in my lifetime, one thing to note. Structures with odd angles, special perspectives, odd lighting and acoustics can do some odd things to a human mind. It's just the way our minds work, it can put your mind in an altered state. Sounds, sight, smell can become altered. Remember, it's not necessarily true that you can trust what you see and hear.

What I saw and was told about in situations like this is satanists that use these places tend to be drug users or drinking....not high up in satanism but still got in on a connection, but wanna be's.... trying to kill enough I think to get accepted higher up....they pray to satan and get voices in their head about where to go or who to kill....they obviously kill in these places at night but the body is long gone, probably the cops took it out.....they work in groups...I heard, it's 7.... but they have some kind of reason to kill that they get telepathically from someone they pray to for 7 days first so they like a place to do all that praying..... I learned it from a homeless guy that managed to get to know them....they act like teenage drug addicts, you would think it's a group of heroin addicts sticking together but they are there to pray and kill someone....They are transient and come to places for certain kill dates.....The police that get the bodies know what is going on....and cover it up because it's too complicated to explain or too dangerous or the satanic group has police that have rank and cover it up.....It doesn't look like they are coming back and this doesn't look like a haunted play house, it looks like they really did some bullshit there...they use places that are abandoned that used to be owned by elite , houses and mansions even old hospitals and banks that nobody else knows about...that surprisingly never get sold or bulldozed....as if they sit there waiting for some satanists to use it......they get in first as if the place is shown to them or waiting for them....they do their thing and go......the places I've seen so far on youtube... are always former satanic sacrifice kill sites under the guise of hospitals in the middle of nowhere, funeral homes, parks, closed down banks...even office buildings.....it's completely freaky that society let's these places stand after they are abandoned......but once owned by a satanist....if its abandoned they are so rich and just seem to lock these places up until they get some kills in....the location itself has their energy....and obviously really is watched by something satanic.....nobody else can really use it but I would like it if they had laws to make these places owned by those types, the free masons and elite connected abandoned places... torn down as soon as they are abandoned.....

It's strange how you visit places in your dreams that you've never even seen before. I wonder why that is. In the dreams nothing bad happens but its eerie and I always have this feeling like I'm trapped. Opening doors and going up and down stairs and I just keep going around until I wake up. Then I feel like I'm not in reality for a few hours after waking up. Anyone else??

I have been a psychic, and experienced out of body travel, for about 30 yrs. now. I must say I have never appreciated my ability more, than when I watch Abandoned videos, because you are just left with so many questions about these places. Thru my psychic ability or thru astral travel, I can almost always get answers if it's something I'm really curious about. As far as the psychic ability goes on these things, it's really not hard, you don't want to think too hard about it. It's usually some of the first thoughts and feelings you have about a place. Most people are pretty sensitive, it's just as natural as seeing or hearing w/your physical eyes or ears. People tend to not even try cause they think it's hard, but it really comes to most of us very easily. Anything I can't get thru psychic, I can usually check out more thoroughly thru out of body travel. If I'm curious about a place I've seen on a video, I will make plans to go check it out while I'm sleeping. When I wake up I will think about it, and more often than not, info will just start flowing into my mind, almost like I'm listening to a radio broadcast. I don't even have to think about it, hardly. It's an example of what is referred to as "higher mind" at work. A lot of these videos I have seen where people have left everything behind, especially children's toys, have been situations where the family living in the home has died, either in an accident (car or airplane) or some natural disaster. There is no will left, and the house goes into what I think is called probate? I don't know much about legal terms. With all the paranormal shows that have been on tv in the last 2 decades, people seem a lot more aware of ghosts and the afterlife than they used to be, and relatives and friends just don't seem to feel as comfortable going thru somebody's stuff as they used to. So, stuff just gets left behind. They know the person might be lingering over them watching them. They would usually be right about that. I see a lot of cases, where as soon as somebody passes over, they just head right back home and hang out in the house for awhile. That's whats most familiar to them. They're feeling more than a little shaken up, and that's what they're looking for, the comfort of home. Also, most people are curious about what will happen to their belongings. It does add an additional creepy element to those places where everything is left behind. Seeing changes made, things taken out of the home, new owners , is often what helps them move on. A lot of it has to do with their spiritual awareness. If they don't have a strong belief in God and spirit, they're going to be more drawn to the physical things. Good luck to anyone who tries the out of body technique for info. You might surprise yourself how quickly it can work for you. I picked it up pretty quick. Sometimes you just remember a few words or blurry images at first, but don't be discouraged. If you keep trying, your memory of things will get stronger, pretty quickly.

Wow Dane, this place was amazing. I don't believe in ghosts or hauntings but this definitely had a creep factor going for it. The eyes on that painting were so very strange. I know they used to take pictures of deceased people then paint their eyes on and open so they looked alive. Couldn't tell if that's what they did with the little girl or not. If Eric owns the building, tell him thank you for allowing you to go through and film it. Shame no one cares about the history of places any more. And watch the clowns the closest. Lol
FoxieEmiko I was fascinated by that portrait, thought it was one of the most interesting things in there. I was so curious about what was going on with the eyes. Very fascinating info you had to share about that. I have actually been a fan of post mortem photography for years now, came about as a result of my interest in antique photos. I've looked at a lot of old Victorian cabinet photos of post mortem children, but I had never heard that about the eyes being painted on sometimes. It certainly gives an odd look and very creepy if you don't know what it is. The PM photos of children can be very interesting the way they tried to make it look like they were still alive sometimes. I remember seeing one with a little girl where they tried to make it look like she had just fallen asleep while she was playing w/her dolls. The death statistics for children were tragic back in those days. I think they said 1 in every 4 children wouldn't make it to adulthood. So if you had more than 3, you knew there was a good chance one of them wouldn't live very long, can't imagine what it was like to live like that. Especially, back in the days when birth control wasn't easily available. You can see why they would treasure their post mortem photos.

I have a whole collection of Madame Alexander dolls that are going on 70 years old and they bring back happy memories of my childhood ... they are as sweet as Beatrix Potter, Winnie the Pooh or Little Golden Books ... They are not old and creepy at all... It's a sad thing that movies have turned such beautiful things as these dolls into something people see as creepy or sad That's why I can't stand and never watch horror movies...
