I don't own any part of this music or video. All credits go to the band.

Susan Stewart here. The song that is missing in this song list is entitled "Nothing But Lies". It plays right after "Hit The Road" and before "Mystic Precence"

I'm 45. My father Donnie Mackie managed The Rebels and produced their albums under his own, Black Label Records. I grew up listening to them and went to every show my parents were legally allowed to bring me to. They also released a Children's Album.

My brother Peppy was the drummer of this band. He passed away this past Monday (11-5-18) He will be sorely missed. RIP big bro. Say hello to Abuelito and Abuelita for us.

Peppy was awesome in INFERNAL AGGRESSION. He was one of the best drummers in the city.

Peppy used to play Wipeout with his hands on the school desk in grade school.. We was in the same class as children ... and middle school

This is Susan Stewart, I was there in the studio when this album was recorded. I was there when some of these songs were written and while they were all being practiced in the front livingroom. Fantastic group!!! REBEL MANIA MAN!!!! LOVE THESE GUYS!!! R.I.P. Peppy Ruiz ♡

Thought about The Rebels because I found my dad's Rebel's roadcrew pass from 88', interesting finally hearing them after having these guys come by the house for parties and what not after all those years when my parents were with us.

bryan ory is playing at the tropical isle in new Orleans with his wife, debi and the deacons, he is a great friend of mine peppi in new Orleans too do you have any other albums getting bryan to send them is pullin teeth

Jim Harrison This video is pretty crappy.. I have been meaning to take it down and re do it... I just may do that tonight too... so please subscribe to me.... interesting Debi and the Deacons... I must check that out. I was just in NOLA a couple weeks ago. this is the only album I own of the band... The Rebels made more music than this one album?? Thanks for responding

@@chriscokid2009 Jim Harrison, this is Susan Stewart. The Rebels have several other songs that were produced in the studio. I've got a lot of their studio cuts and live show music along with music they recorded in the livingroom at The Rebel Manor in Terrytown, Louisiana, where we all lived together for a few years. I'm looking into getting all the music I have cleaned up so I can put it on Utube as well. The Rebels music will stand the test of time always.

Too bad this band was mis managed. They could have went places. If the players were smart, they would re release this album. These words come from a pro that already arranged to have 2 local groups signed to major record labels.
