Unemployment up 4% retail sales are declining and stores are closing family dollar, express, rue21, red lobster, Denny's, 99 cent store, earnings at businesses target, home Depot, 5 below, big lots, kohls, Lowes, under armour, McDonald's, Starbucks, Tesla, footlocker, apple, best buy, gm, stalantis, ford saw sale declines in the first quarter so yes clearly we are either in a recession or headed there really fast.

I have always kept my apparel business as a side hustle ever since I started back in 2020. I’m thankful that I have a few steady commercial customers that keep coming back and always gain new customers because of them ! But I would never consider this a full time business. You have to have multiple hats to survive! I also have an office cleaning business by night and I do window cleaning by day. I wish everyone the best of luck on surviving in this cruel world! Keep fighting!

I started my business with zero Deb. My husband built m warehouse which hoses my Ricomas and heat pressure machines. All my blanks have been paid for in advance with oro needs from my machines, So zero debt helps when times get tough, So I just get out and hustle more, I have been in business for about 25 years now, Love your content Allen.

Brother we are so slow and I am so happy that we didn't pull the trigger on getting new equipment. Thank God that our overhead is still low. I'm ubering right now to supplement my income until we get busy again.

Amazing inspiration especially for me as a growing business during this time. Been in the custom apparel industry for going on 5 years now, and I’m still learning. Decided to get a storefront to reach more serious customers for the opportunity to help build their brand as well…However, you are absolutely right..we must endure regardless and remain creative! I know who you're talking about. Watched the video this morning. Glad you didn't get a bigger place. I commented to this person when they were thinking about getting a big warehouse and warned against it. I've been doing my business for 35 years and it's always up and down. I made all the mistakes when I was younger but at the time it was easy to get out of it and adjust. There were other opportunities with the internet starting to grow. I don't see those opportunities today. You have to really hustle to get business nowadays.

I am not talking about anyone in particular. I’m speaking to all of us. I’ve been saying this economy is terrible for months and have been asking if people are noticing grocery prices rising. This affects everybody eventually not just one person. What determines the significance of the impact is how over leveraged you are. We are all either feeling this economy or about to feel it. No one is exempt.

Everyone is having a difficult time. During the pandemic we were all getting sales and RU-vid was paying well and things good. Now it’s a little difficult but we will all figure things out because that’s what we do when things get rough. We will figure it out. I’m vending at a Juneteenth event as we speak. We all just need to be a little more creative and think of different ways to do things outside of our norms.

Thanks I appreciate it. I learn a lot from everyone on here also. It’s definitely effecting though. Effect/effecting is the cause of something happening affect is the pretense but they can be used interchangeably. Example: something will affect you when it happens. After it happens it has or will effect or is effecting you. I appreciate you.
