Love to see your ole dramas ,just to take me away for a few hours from the hustle and bustle from are dark scary world ! These dramas feel like another world, one that would have been a lot nicer , happier, safer time in life. Thank you so much PizzaFix.
They are heavily censored escapism from the Great Depression en route to millions dying during WWII. Appreciate what you have while we're lucky enough to have it.
@@unowen-nh9ov You are right. The difference for us is the perspective of all that has happened in the world since then. Yes, they are fantasy, and escapism, and many movies are just that...and those that are, should be. One big difference, no matter if they are silly homespun / corny stories, mysteries, or whatever, is that there was a level of imagination that was expected from the audience. Now audiences want every possible detail right there, just to look at...and gaping for very long can lead to a slack-jawed mindset. Escapism can allow one to relax, but your mentioning the need for appreciation is also important - small things can make a huge difference, and need to be recognized.
Heather, such a lovely comment by you. We all feel what you have expressed about a dangerous world. It's so great to escape and remember how great it was to grow up in a safe in the good ole USA.
A funny story, a morality play, more than one 'old saw'...it is hard to beat _that_ recipe with this cast and company: "Company B[movie]". Thanks for another enjoyable story!
The sincerity of heart was in every scene..Thank you for sharing this gemstone! Lotta life lessons in this one especially for young people who think they want in the business!😉
Once again thanks pizza flix.."great movies time after time ....every time I think I've seen them all..I find another great one to add to the list❤️😇😇✝️
Classic Hollywood looking at itself in a mirror......the so-called "perfect mouse-trap" as far as I can tell....but just my humble opinion.....thank you for another great entry.
At the 12:19 mark, Helen is basically telling you that she "wants a high value man, 6 feet tall, with a 6 figures income" and that broke dudes can just get lost. Dude, just walk away and stop trying to save her. She sounds like most of today's women. LOL.
Mary R At 39:32- AMSCRA =SCRAM I couldn't make out exactly what she said earlier... Sorry but you're hearing might be better than mine..🤗 GOD BLESS YOU and enjoy your day..
I heard something like "ixnay aiseray ?eckincray?". "Nix raise ?creckin?". My guess is that it was to be "ixnay aiseray aincay" or "nix raise Cain". "Don't raise Cain" being a common phrase up to the mid 70's. Basically is means Don't make trouble. It could be she didn't know pig Latin and she misread the script or maybe that was how they said it when she was young. Some kids will do word substitutions inside pig Latin. Boontling wrapped in Pig Latin would be really rough on parents!
