The skull that was at dragon stone with rhaenyra was Meraxys skull. Aegon's wife who was shot down in Dorne & They sent the skull back years later as a peace gift

rhaeneys attacked in the hopes of injuring vagar in hopes another black dragon can finish her off. (Meleys is one of the oldest and strongest dragons) or kill her or maybe kill aemond so vhagar would be riderless and out of the picture, she is more experienced at the end of the day Meleys was too injured to have made it very far & Rhaenys would have never abandoned Meleys even for the sake of her own safety. That last look they gave before turning back to fight Vhaegar again was a mutual acknowledgement they were going down together. Makes that whole moment that much more heartbreaking

This was a great episode with so much going on. Daemon is constantly hallucinating seeing those of the past that haunts him as he's trying to gather soldiers from Harrenhal. Alicent still processing with what happened with her reunion with Rhaenyra as well did Viserys choose Aegon as heir to the stone. Is asking the Maester for some tea in which she takes in which appears she's pregnant by the way she touch her stomach. In which I feel Larys Strong knows during their conversation. Aegon is not liking that he's not being respected. As Aemond and Cole makes decisions behind his back. You can see the tension between Aegon and Aemond as Aemond want to get back at Aegon for embarrassing him at the brothel. As well Alicent showing her disappointment in him with Aegon killing the Ratcatchers and removing his father as Hand. In which pushes Aegon to take part in the battlefield. Cole who took down Duskendale, Rosby and Darkyln. Forcing some men of Darkyln to side with the Greens as Cole killed Lord Darkyln. With his hand arriving at Dragonstone in which forces Rhaenys to go into the battle knowing that Rhaenyra is important to the throne as she's expandable. The battle with Dragons so well done. Damn Aemond really tried to take Aegon out along with Rhaenys lol. RIP to Rhaenys who died on the battlefield. I'm looking forward episode 5. But anyway I hope you have a wonderful day. Rhaenys should've retreated. Rhaenyra shoulda kept Daemon close, caraxes and meleys could've taken down vhagar. All this could've been avoided 😥

The plan he had made with Amoned was to take down Rhaenyra's biggest allied within the crownlands and cut off her forces from stepping on land. Similar to what lord Corlys is doing to King Landings by cutting them off from the sea. Which is why Rheanys decided to stay an fight Amoned & Vhagar, because at that point losing rook rest would be a major L for team black and anybody who sides with them.

The events of House of Dragon take place 172, Non Characters in this show is Alive for what we saw in GOT so dumb Aegon is not the mad king and by the way mad king name was King Aerys II Targaryen just saying also the men that save the sea snake is his bastard child that's why Rhaenys said "I know who he is" anyone that saves a lord is given a lot coin to promote the save lord among others policy but he didn't got shit cuz Corelys did want to his queen find out they look like twins father and son just remove the hair and beard😅

Rhenerya messed up big time, they were at war since EP 1 but she was playing stills and it allowed Cole and Aemond to Lay a trap for her strongest dragon and win
