5:10 that’s such a good connection! From a purely linguistic perspective, when the subject is separated from the predicate and copula (predicate=Eve, the “self of my self”. Copula = the source/energy of their union, God) it collapses into itself (dust to dust). The created self of Adam is revealed to be equal to nothing in the absence of participation in other selves (ultimately God), because a subject *always* has a predicate (which doesn’t make them equal, but co-extensive). I was recently listening to James Jordan’s lectures on Revelation and he said we need a “Christian linguistics,” which is so true. The very structure of language reveals the Tri-unity.

I donno about that last bit. It certainly isn't true that every language has that pattern. Many languages lack a copula altogether. And subjectless sentences are common in many languages. Japanese, for example, often omits the subject *and* the copula. From what I understand, linguists had a lot of theories about universals in languages, and then they started studying isolated languages from Australia, Africa, the Americas, and Asia, and found that none of their universals worked.
