@@triggerfish999 Yes. I am a big fan of his and am aware that his career path includes more than being one of the best comedians Britian has ever produced. I would also correct you and state that art is now his hobby post retiring from comedy and acting which actually turned out to his primary vehicle of making him money and fame.

I read the biography of Vic and Bob once and it was said that if Jim had not gone into comedy he would've made a first class art forger. Apparently he can replicate almost any artist's style.

I love the Romney Marshes, Dungeness and all that. I painted lavender by whacking lavender and paint onto my canvas. Surprising delicate marks.

Top Tip: get some kneepads for that work on the studio floor. As an added boon they will make interfering with goats much more comfortable.

I think it really worked out well. I love the darkness of the lower portion. Lots of texture, darkness also strangely warm.

Absolutely wonderful. I have zero artistic talent, and am somewhat in awe of people who can create a complete world from a few lines and tonal variations. A million miles away from 'Vic Reeves' Big Night Out', and steadily pulling further away. I own a copy of Jim's book 'Birds', which is possibly one of the most exquisite books I own. Thank you, Jim. Work like that is beautiful, and makes me very happy. 👍👍👍

Easy vic , nice to see you looking well, last met up,in the tunnel club near millwall when you took the stage and then took a beer can to the head , rough old gaf. Saw Vic and Bob when I was 17 at the Manchester Academy, Oct 17th '90. I'd just dyed my hair black and it was pissing it down and black streaks ran all down my face. The performance was hilarious, on the train home I sat in silence, hoarse from laughing and stroking my ribs as if I'd just done six rounds with a particularly foul tempered kangaroo. Funniest show I ever saw.

After decades of this mans many guises, still the talent shines through. Worthy of a turn on Novelty Island at the very least. Unless you've left it ALL behind Jim, how about an occasional 'guest star' episode ? Something inside me desperately wants to see Charlie Chuck manically wielding a paintbrush....with surreal results.
