I bounced up and down in my chair the entire time. Holy cow. This is absolutely amazing. I think it's cannon that, after the Khan incident, on the way home the Enterprise was attacked by a Klingon vessel... Folks can correct me but I think it's why the hull shows more damage during the beauty shots while entering space dock in 3. I loved this. My FAVORITE phasers.

Very nicely done! Only thing I wish we could have seen was the use of the 4 phasers mounted on the very bottom and the 2 phasers mounted just above the shuttle bay on the secondary/engineering hull when you had the beautiful girl maneuvering.

That was better than anything served up by CBS or Paramount in the past 13 years......

The first few Voices sounded like echoes from the Past a ship absorbs the voices of her crew and hold them frozen in time ... That Starship battle was awesome the D7 looks amazing and the Enterprise looks amazing with those phaser scarring ... Amazing effort my friend the voices held me spell bound ... a few klingon Phrases would have made this epic ... best thing from a fan I've ever seen thank you.. great upload.... That D7 coming in with some of the original klingon theme tune would be awesome ...great stuff mate 👍💯👍

This fight really shows the resilience and toughness of the Constitution class, a Shii that received WAY more pounding than it should have!

I always wondered why they don't have a set of crewman constantly coming up with an escape plan when they get in these situations. All they do is calculate headings to get themselves out of this trouble. Then all the captain as to do is say get us out of here and off they go. You'd think they'd warp out, turn around, warp in, attack and warp back out again.

Honestly, imo, when the three starships appeared 6:28 , I was really hoping for the following: NCC-1703 NCC-1702 NCC-1701 NCC-1700 But hey! I still loved it

I've always found the combat in Star Trek to be nonsensical considering the weapons types that they have available and the technology powering them. This rectifies some of that. Thanks.

Not too shabby. I only have one complaint and it’s the scale looking inside the ship. It’s way too large for the volume of the ship. This same problem has been an issue ever since “Star Trek The Motion Picture”. J.J. Abrams got a lot of things wrong but he did do something that made more sense. He just about doubled the interior of the new Enterprise, which gave it more practical grandeur.

The Enterprise honestly got lucky here, even with Kirk's tactical knowledge. Three late model D-7/K'Tinga class Cruisers is not a fair fight for a Constitution class ship, even with the Connie-II upgrades. They could even give an Excelsior a workout in the right skipper's hands.

The Klingons feared the Federation's capabilities because the Klingon Empire built warships..... that were matched and beaten by the Federation's general purpose science ships.

That was purdy. However, it sure took a while for the Klingons to start shooting. Did the Enterprise fire first?... Not very Starfleet of them.

i love how at the end you REALLY get the feel that if the Klingon gets of that last PT they really are DEAD. and of course the cavalry only shows up AFTER there is only a single barely functioning D-7 remaining. my only criticism more like a nit pick is how slow everything moves feels very laggy but i'm guessing you probably pushed your PC to the max for this?

Ships in the ST universe fight at distances of tens of thousands of kilometers. The movies and TV never seem to get that right.

This is the golden era for Star Trek. The ship designs, the uniforms, the phasers, the political state of the galaxy. They really should do a TV series set in this period.

The asteroid finishing off the k'tinga was pretty sweet, but the squadron line up at the end made it. Nice job.

04:05 That asteroid hit - BOOYAH!!! Yes - Captain Kirk is a tactical genius - oh he's VERY good, as that famous unnamed Romulan captain acknowledged. But his legend has ALSO been entwined with incredible LUCK as well. And THAT right there is a just a bit of the old Kirk good fortune coming into play at JUST the right time!

I like how you displayed the USS Yorktown next to the USS Enterprise at the end. USS Yorktown, according to the lore, is re-christened USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A.

That was awesome, one of the best fan made battle scenes. A fight like this is missing in the movies, the Enterprise against a D7 instead of a Bird of Prey or other ships no one cares about.

Poor Enterprise was pretty battered, but still dangerous. Your phaser effects for Enterprise were damn good. The Wrath of Khan phaser effects really do look like they have some punch behind them, they're meaty, and your effects managed to capture that aspect pretty well.

It's about time the Enterprise gets back up from another constitution class starships! It took 57 years! Yeesh! I need the heart back. Thank you.

Very nicely done! I’ve always wondered how the refit Enterprise would have done against a D7/Ktinga! You have satisfied my curiosity. Beautiful voice work as well!

And so, the battle would be one for the history books. Stories would be told of how the Enterprise defended against a Klingon raid in contested space. No one surrendered, no one retreated. Both sides would fight until the end. That day, many Klingons died with honor. They were also reminded that the Enterprise is a prize that can never be obtained.

This is the best fan made star trek ship combat I've seen in a long time 10/10

This was GREAT man. I can imagine the look of terror when a Constitution class star ship isnt holding back.

Some issues. NCC-1701 has pulse phaser canons( pulse phaser fire ). They're an upgrade from the old blue Andorian-style phaser array( solid beam ). Also, Klingon disrupters fire heavy green pulses instead of phaser style beams. They're pulse style weapons as well. It's nitpicking. Sorry. Otherwise, it's a wonderfully made video. The slow ship turns really show how thruster control was essential to getting a firing solution on the target like old navy warfare. It definitely feels like the 23rd century. Great battle sequence.....my only trib....quibble is the original refit 1701 was not painted with the blue bits the A was sort of that colour but I prefer the TMP aztec scheme. Excellent job no number1!!

daannng, loving it. awesome work and almost flawless. gonna share this... extra props for doing this with a "game" engine. about the only nitpick i have is you can see the klingon ships just waiting around in the background while you're doing the beauty shots in the beginning... which makes it feel like they were just waiting there to get hit by that first torpedo, which kills the suspension a bit up front. if you ever feel to revisit this animation.. maybe just have them warp in with some effect right before they get hit with the torpedo or figure out some visual explanation why the klingon ships are just hanging there and not taking advantage of the enterprise being a sitting duck
