Found myself riding an elevator once joined by these odd pod people, around 1988 or 1989, some place where they were performing. I was the sole non-eyeballed resident of that elevator; And the eyeball-people...they were silently snickering-It was easily the most awkward 30 seconds of my life.
I love how Homer is so straight-forward and professional in comparison, as though there was nothing unusual at all about the group. Their act was very well-refined even at that time, and they really seem to have a lot of fun with it. I don't dig all of their music, but I love their spirit and dedication to their art.
In the beginning? That is the Duck Stab / Buster and Glenn Vinyl album from 1978. In those days fans got them signed with a marker which they do later in the interview. The song "Hello Skinny" that they mention is on it and so is "Constantinople". But maybe you know these things, memories.
Ladies and gents here they are once more filling our minds with alternative music/ beautiful noises and thoughts. Also very ugly ones ... for all..Peace Christo 👽🐕🎶🛸
