Oh dear 9.11 pm here in Canada and nothing, no-thing just a circle going around and around. Will have to watch tomorrow. Am I addicted ? You might Sat....
Nick please get your RU-vid channel up. Yourself and Cameron are pure gold and need to be 1 of my five a day. Cameron is so underrated, the little I have seen of him, when he’s being himself and not educational, he makes me lol. ❤
Lol, when Cameron popped in to help I thought it was a second Dan at first. The dogs look like they are having the time of their fuzzy lives, and so do you. 🧡
It's going so well with help. Remind your guys to carry the joist on the same side as you as to not "fight" one another. So cool to see the clean up too. Try to get Nick to get rid of the unwanted Chateau "House Plants." It will make it look so much better.
It would be great to see some French drains dug around the chateau while you have the boys and their toys. Some of the clean rumble would make great back fill. Excellent work, the grounds are starting to come together.
This series is so incredible. There's as much work rebuilding the "chateau" than there is making and editing these videos. Thanks so much for this consistent lesson in patience and persistence.
Good morning team Dan❤ Nice to see you bright eyed and bushy tailed … This camping is absolutely totally agreeing with you … Fantastic day had by all … Rest easy don’t let the bed bugs bite and we will see you tomorrow ❤
A little shout out to Nick and Cameron! Great work, gentlemen. I loved watching all the detritus being moved away from the chateau. Dan's right, it makes an enormous difference in the chateau's profile. How exciting and busy the next days will be.
Hi Dan, Nick and Cameron. Congratulations on all the marvellous work you have done within the Chateau kitchen and without in the grounds. My gosh it's so good to see you all cracking on together again. Xxxx ❤ xxx
Thank you for explaining what you are doing with the rubble to form a base for the carpark. Hopefully viewers have listened and will stop all the repetitive questions which are so tedious.
I wonder how many get to read all the comments, there are so many now. You need to spend a couple of weeks reading if you've just joined and started from the beginning !😮
I wonder if that small opening between the back room and room above the kitchen used to be a servants passage to the dining room! It would explain the angled corner, the small window and the random steels sticking out of the wall. Our hypothesis was that the doorway from the hall into the area above the kitchen used to be two doors, the one on the left (seen from the hall) leading into a back hallway to the kitchen stairs. Entering through that door and immediately turning left you'd have a small passage into the back room to your left and a raised section of floor straight ahead (to provide enough headroom above the stairs). The three or four smaller steels sticking out of the wall would have supported that raised floor section. Walking straight into the back hall, past the passage to the back room, and then turning left would have taken you down to the kitchen. All the way down that service hall might have been a door into the corner room.
I love it when you put a board down and it's the first time a person has stood in that corner for years, I love corners. Your team is 👏 brilliant. The dogs are really adding to the whole thing.
Dan's work ethic is astonishing. His ability to keep his composure when things go tits up is either incredible, or he edits out his less even tempered moments... It is so gratifying to see the Chateau progressing daily.
What I find very interesting about you blog, is how organized your plan is. Dan has thought out the details of the reconstruction, it all starts to make a lot of sense now. By Winter the Chateau should be moving into a more final phase.
When you threw the floor board on this top of it all and stomped it into place, I kinda expected a bit of Michael Flatley jig. 🙃Beautiful ending shot with you and the dogs.
I am curious on how you are going to hoist those next level beams without the help of nick’s equipment. A crane would be so helpful. I have seen Billy Petherick use his cherry picker as a crane when they replaced a beam in the gardener’s cottage.
Who doesn't love to love Dan and his optimism! Proving that with hard work and a clear vision of the future you can do impossible things. That old phrase 'he knew it not to be impossible therefore he did it', comes to mind. xo
I should think you enjoy the company! It must be feel quite lonely just working on your own! The boys probably love being with you too - especially when you feed them so well! It is amazing to see the progress you have made!
I am a sixteen-year-old architectural historian specializing in late Victorian houses in the US, and I've been making some very detailed renderings of the interiors of Chaumont. The styles that I choose to represent are Eastlake and early French renaissance. I would post these drawings in the comments, if only RU-vid would allow me to upload photos. If anyone knows how I could get them to Dan, I would greatly appreciate it.
This must be one of the best well spent time I have from all the media circuit. This very short (in my opinion) vlogs keep you eager for more and the overall quality is at the higher standards, again, in my opinion even compete with the highest budget programs of large media broadcasters! You are on the right track Dan. Please keep pumping more contents! :-) All the best with your enterprise Pedro From Portugal
Nice to see Dan has some help here, well done. Why hasn’t Dan Got sponsorship to help with tools? Would certainly be a great endorsement for the big companies. Nic & Cameron real massive help here, well done team.
Also, I’m not sure how I found your videos but I’m honestly glad I did. Thanks for letting us in a glimpse of life there. I wish your videos were just a little longer. Definitely keep the dogs in there.
Another great video instant gratification with Nick and Cameron doing all the clean up with their equipment Dan such a great team the three of you are! Makes a outstanding video thanks for sharing sweet dreams dancing on the next level ! 😀😍
Good progress,it's mind blowing thinking of all the work that's to be done, but when you have friends that come over & help like they do,it's good too see.😊

Found your channel by accident but so glad I did. How do you keep so cheerful when you have all this work needing done? Jealous so I am. Love your team and always look forward to your Blog. Keep up the good work, and good morning lol 👍 You help to make retirement enjoyable.....
I keep reading great comments, great feelings, great people here; I’m impressed! Dan, Nick, and Cameron are out of this world with the job you guys do🍀
Great progress with your dream team on site. Also wanted to say I love how the dogs follow you around. Definitely an inexpensive security team watching out for you!❤
So that’s how you put in those little boards between the floor joists!! I’ve learned so much about how to build a house from watching you. Thank you. 😊
Very exciting, watching the changes everyday, with help of Nick and company, making seriously in roads of the grounds and Chateau. Can't wait for tomorrow! 😊
Such a good feeling to see the chateau cleared of the rubble and seeing it go to good use as well, the imagination can really run wild now...she's a beauty, we're all in love with her...!
Your videos are not long enough, I always want to see more.😊 glad that you had help today, wish they could help you more, my best wishes, from maryland, usa...
The videos are great. They are not too short. They are well edited and very interesting without a lot talking and lag time. Please don’t criticize Dan and his videos. He is doing such a great job.
