Thanks to this video, I have made plans to pick up my brothers 1985 GMC custom van and have it towed 120 miles back to my mechanics garage for a complete restoration. It has been sitting in a parking lot fully exposed since 2009. I know it is going to cost to have it restored so I budgeted for the last year to make sure it gets everything that it needs to return to its original show room state. Thanks to this video, I am getting a beautiful new custom van.
That's awesome man! I love to hear that!! I have updates coming. Be sure to check out my other G20 videos. Start vlogging your journey! Appreciate you man!!!
So glad I found your RU-vid site. I have a 1993 G20 high top with a Mark III conversion. It has been sitting for about 5 years and I have been going back and forth on whether to restore or sell. Wife says sell.....I now say restore and that is what I am going to do. I will be following you. Let's do this!!!!
I have a 1976 Cadillac Seville. I need help man. I have a hard time finding parts. Also, I came from the van era. Looking forward seeing you work on your project.
Woohoo i am in the mud of buying a started project, I've gotten to know most of what it has to offer and now times make the choice to take or leave . Such a cool expensive vehicle
Yes it is! Good luck on your venture. Yon won't regret it! The sky is the limit with the different things you can do with these classic now vehicles and they will run forever!
Just picked up a 92 G20 Gladiator last October with only 70K miles on it... (Gray). Just finished phase one which involved a complete mechanical inspection, tune-up, suspension, etc... This one was left out doors as well (back East/snow) and the factory pain job did not hold up well. So that effort/phase will be a major project. But until then, she runs outstanding! (20 MPG Hwy 15 city). Lots of restoration questions and where to source parts? Looking forward to watching your progress.
