The Return of Lindsay Ellis 

I’d posit that the things she said weren’t even unfortunate. It’s the minds of our culture and what they choose to focus on in an effort to tear down others to signal their own absent virtue that has become unfortunate.

This is the first time in two years she's posted on RU-vid, and it's a long promo for the "Ballad of John and Yoko" to get people to come on Nebula to watch the full thing... and all of her output since she left RU-vid. She posted six videos since October of 2022 including the Ballad of John and Yoko. I recommend it since there's a lot of video essayists on there. Sarah Z, Jesse Gender, Tom Nicholson, Munecat, FD, Foreign Man, Big Joel, HBomb... they get better money for the watch time and is creator-owned. It's alight. There's certainly more supplemental stuff from creators on their patreons, but there's other stuff that isn't here. I'd rather watch them on there anyway, they don't have to worry about RU-vid censorship.

It really is good to see her back, though I've not yet had a chance to see this one (I'll probably get to it in a couple of days). And I enjoy the way you express that here.

I'd also suggest Sarah Z. And Lady Emily. Swoop also has good essays.

I don't think Lindsay Ellis is "back on RU-vid" at all. Those promos for her videos on Nebula used to be posted on the Nebula RU-vid account but this time it got posted to her account for some reason. That's it.

She did say anything "unfortunate" on twitter.. she said something and her overly offended audience reacted poorly.
