Aren't they!? Super day to go walking. Just beautiful autumn day. Was really chuffed to be out and walking. Gourmet meal made all the better with a big mug of coffee too.
I still have that whole side of the country to explore. Your videos are certainly a great advertisement. Also, I love your narration style - it's one of the best of any 'amateur' RU-vidrs I follow. Finally, nice to see someone else using W3W too.
Thank you so much. Really glad you're enjoying the videos. Its not hard though when you have such great material in the the Mournes. If you can get here at all then do it, you'll not be disappointed. Was out today on a well walked route and it was busy with walkers and groups but there are plenty of other routes not as well walked and they are spectacular. Thanks for the encouragement
Alyn, enjoyed your 'triumphal' return to Eagle Mountain😊 A fantastic day for that ridge walk with the views down into the valley and over the rest of the Mournes☀and Eagle does look spectacular from around the Great Gully👍 A lovely circuit to enjoy some of the best of the Western Mournes.
Absolutely Gerry. It is a really great route- so much to see that way round. The mountains were at their splendid in that autumn sun. The visibility was superb and we got to see so much. I now need to go back to the original route and see if I can complete that!
Loved that for a Saturday morning. Yous got some morning for it. Cracking view of Eagle mountain at 8 mins 27 seconds. I must try that route up to Eagle. Keep up the good work 👍.
Thank you so much. Its a lovely route to be fair. Comjng off Pigeon into the valley is so cool and the walk up the cliffs to the summit is spectacular- as you say, there are some great views of Eagle from that side. Would definitely recommend.
Gary, wasn't it just great! One of those mild, daring to be cold, autumn days. Clear as a bell too. Visibility for miles. That route gives you some great views of the mountains too. I loved it
Thanks Ashley. There is this great app. You just order your weather and it shows up. Next day delivery. If only. We were so lucky- it was the perfect autumn walk. The Mournes are such a special place even in the bad weather but days like this are spectacular. Cant wait to watch your latest video pal. Get those boots on
