I agree like this went from everyone agreeing that revie was a "bad"(in a sense of this drama) to people being assholes to each other for saying defend Revie, those who are neutral, and to the people who still think that Revie was not innocent. Plus, the whole drama kind blew out of proportion when all of this stuff was happening as well.

Kubi's cancellation was the final nail in the coffin, revie wasn't really that innocent tho, a lot of people have confesed that she was pretty weird and awkward around others, not to mention that her director capabilities were put on doubt after what happened with exetravaganza, and the two year gap is still a very controversial topic, that I personally think is still weird, and she was very, very dumb, to accept an ERP with Kubi, surely Kubi concented, but Revie was the one who accepted, perfectly knowing their age, she needed to be extremely oblivious in order to not see that this could potentially be bad for her in the future. Everyone was flawed one way or another in this controversy, nobody won, except for faker I guess, who now has a slight chance at shining once again in exemerge and fanarts, although twitter still has a small grudge against the character.
Well there isn't really any knowledge of her having any kind of disorder that could affect her socialization, so maybe there was a disorder there or maybe she was just bad with her relationships I can't say she was the best of the directors, but she knew how to keep it under control and at least keep things straight knowing that things went down after she left vs sonic.exe The ERP is indeed not something you'd want to do with a minor, and i can't defend her for that, but maybe she considered that things wouldn't escalate to the extend of other people thinking she was grooming, because technically it doesn't enter that area, but it also doesn't mean she was fine by doing it
This is just what I got from the Large Lenny video on her, so you can take it with a grain of salt, but supposedly she *did* consider that fact She was pretty uncomfortable about the idea and was concerned about how it would seem, but Kubi insisted that it was okay because the actual age gap wasn't too big on it's own, so mental maturity wouldn't be much of a factor...but as a fan of Nominal Dingus, I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if that was just to get some dirt on her

I agree that Revie could have handle the situation better and could even bypass all of this if it wasn't for the RP, but still, Kubi is still accountable for being sexual at the internet, acting weird towards adults(revie as an example) and having a manipulative side that can hold against them in any serious court.

In my opinion, Revie isn't completely innocent nor a groomer, rather an irresponsible adult. Revie should have been more responsible being older than most of the people involved, it's good that she's going to therapy to better herself and (hopefully) be more responsible in the future. Personally, I'm on nobody's side of the story and just hoping that dumb FNF Twitter drama comes to an end, but I can admit when someone does something wrong or is doing their best to be better. I'm not on the "Revie is innocent!!!?!?!?!" train but I'm also not on the "I will send death threats to this mf" train. I don't give two shits what someone did, doxxing them or sending death threats is not ok, if you don't like a creator, block them or ignore them.
I would agree that Revie isn't completely in the right, but I am proud of her that she actually took the time to back away from the community and seek therapy instead of defending herself.

Personally, I think Revie is just a weird person that made a mistake on her part. Shit overblown and got overly bloated. I haven't watched it fully yet but coming from you I know this will be good Edit: I disagree on 22:55 . While I understand the point, taking it into context it isn't a good defense. Not only the age gap is just 2 years apart, but just because someone is 18 doesn't mean they're mature enough and vise versa. Heck most adults agree that 4 "true adulthood" if you will, starts at the age of 21-25. Sure if Kubi is like 14 this would be a different story. But since Kubi isnt, it means both sides have to take into consideration because their both are immature in their own way. PS, I heard from somewhere that Kubi turns out to be a groomer, but I just heard that from somewhere so take it with a grain of salt. I disagree on that point more on "Always for mature" but I use a different formula for it. As Revie is still an adult in the situation, I do agree that she could handle the situation better, however, this doesn't mean that Kubi couldn't be the manipulative one since he was the one asking for it and pushing revie to do so. Even though Revie is wrong for taking their invitation, Kubi is ALSO the one in the wrong here, since he was manipulating an adult to do stuff that THEY wanted. Again, I agree with the core point of "Revie is innocent, but is still a human with flaws", although, I also have the right to disagree over what the conclusion to the actions were taken from.
I feel like the point of talking about the ERP is to rebut two major allegations: pedophillia and grooming. The age gap quickly puts pedophillia out of the question, which leaves grooming. By highlighting that KUBI is the one to coerce Revie into it, you can then cross-off the idea of grooming, as Revie isn't coercing Kubi into doing weird stuff. So it seems strange to accuse Revie of either, when its clear that neither are true. That being said, I do agree that it was irresponsible of her to so much as accept the ERP- but it just leaves her looking like a pretty weird person, not an individual with serious criminal charges placed on them.
couple points that i have -rightburts "being forced by the community to hate revi" may be true, as while dms seem to be in favor public tweets aren't(unless the dms are posted by rightburst) -While Revi isn't innocent, it's entirely possible that she isn't a bad person anymore. -While Revie being an adult makes these 2 claims iffy, I'll still say them: 1.revie COULD of felt pressured into the ERP, even if she still should of declined as it couldnt of been much pressure. 2.The whole "showing chest in vc" thing may of been a joke, and purposely made to look like she was going to show her chest, however that kind of joke shouldn't be made around minors. -I do think the whole 14yo interaction shouldn't put a mark on Revie, this is because it was a comission, and then with the ratsona it's well, a ratsona who is an entirely seperate age to the actual 14yo, as much as the talk revie said shouldnt be said in dms with a 14yo. -Now while i dont know where Revie, nor kubi live, it is perfectly fine in some countries to ERP(for example where i live(austalia) the age of consent is 16, therefore that interaction is perfectly fine. While it is unlikely that both live in a country where 16yo are at the age of consent, it is possible. Like i said in these points, Revie isn't innocent. She confirmed that herself, however we can't deny she showed proof that she is seeing therapy and *trying* to change.

This controversy stopped being about whether Revie was innocent or not a long time ago for me, to be frank I don't care what RightBurst has to say at this point because he's been all over the place ever since this happened, many of his friends casually call him out on what he says and does so it's clear to me that he's not of great importance in regards to the actual situation. My main problem comes from how he called Revie out once and everyone encouraged it, after that a noticeable negative decline happened with the guy and you can see it in practically all of his Twitter posts, and so RightBurst just started being the villain because that was the behaviour his following was encouraging. Regardless of how much you hate someone I don't think it's right to call upon other people to make their life miserable, that's what I'm not okay with, and while Revie might have had to worry about sexual harassment claims I think it's worth acknowledging how many people are ignorant to those laws, I only learned sexual harassment was something punishable by law last year, it was pretty recent, this stuff isn't taught in school which is why sexual harassment in schools goes largely unreported, Revie isn't exactly an adult so I think that's important to note. Other than that she was aware of grooming, how could you not be when you're into FNF? So she tried to be cautious initially, obviously I think Revie needs some kind of therapy or help just so she becomes less socially inept but I don't think she was trying to be malicious here. Overall I think it's dangerous for someone to have followers that are so smart yet lack so much emotional control that they'll dox people over disagreements and RightBurst should definitely be more careful about things like this than he has been for the past year or so, the lesson to be learned here is that once you have an audience you have to be careful with what you do and say because you don't want people committing crimes or things like this because of you, it places some responsibility on your shoulders and no responsibility should ever be taken lightly.
This is a good video, sadly though, Twitter only wants people to think "Revie is 100% evil, EXE team are angels" and any other opinion is invalid to them. So they will most likely start to harass you. What's worse is that even in non Revie incidents, exe fans defend this team no matter what, like them defending the team disrespecting their dead member, or defending a member saying that they don't care if a person they bullied commits suicide. Really messed up stuff. Exe fans are just unfixable

Just saying, kubicorg situation got resolved with revie privately by apologizing, kubi accepted the apology but she was just saying bad stuff about revie in public to keep her platform, this information is from falsecow's second thread about revie and they apologized for the pedophilia part if i remember correctly (keep in mind that rightburst was the one who's gonna call out revie but he told falsecow to, i don't remember what was the reason to but it's in GameReel's video about the situation), also kubi got outed for the same revie thing with another bad stuff made their partner uncomfortable apparently and the reason kubi outed revie was because revie did some trolling to kubi *in minecraft*

This video really explains the situation in a good way, as for my opinion on the matter, as some who is in the 'Revie's Innocent' side, I say that the accusations against her were more exaggerated, the rp/sexual encounter (to my mind I'd say that the term sexual harassment doesn't really describes it well due to it being ok for both sides, might be wrong tho) with Kubicorg, the weird talking with the minor not being directed to the kid but their OC and the whole deal with Rightburst (which tbh I'd rather take his words on the matter with a pinch of salt) She isn't 100% innocent, but the arguments used against her were either exxagerated or don't have strong/enough evidence to support it
Videos like this is why i love the internet, and it is why i enjoy watching this channel, as you dont force your opinions onto people but rather encourage people to look into stuff and formulate their own view on the situation,you are one of the few video essay channels i enjoy, hats off to you kind sir, keep up the good work!!
My opinions on the whole thing after hearing the evidence is that revie did make a few mistakes, and I personally think as long as she can learn from them and become a better person from it is good And I think rightburst should be held accountable for his childish behavior as a mod director should be patient with it's teammates and staff as they are the one's who put the time and effort into making a mod, and I bet if he went on with making a second mod as he threatened to history would repeat itself with him overworking his staff, in fact I personally believe that rightburst is more in the wrong than revie is, and hopefully he learns from his experiences in the future rather than forgetting them
The video was actually good and I like how people still give a f*ck trying to solve this dispute after a year of fighting and manipulation! First Large Lennie, then Tostify, then Mehmet Bruhductions and now Serial Introvert! Of course, she did some things wrong, but the overreacting caused this to be a actual drama and it could've been sorted privately if people were more mature and understandable, but it was more of a scheme to keep the status clean. I feel sorry for her, but at the same time I don't really feel completely happy if i read it all again from the beginning... All right, thanks for opening my eyes, someone else on the internet convinced me that it was the team sabotaging her cuz they didn't want her on the team anymore but decided to rip off her character so that they can still get the cloute off of it and that was what caused the harassment of her to the point where she just said she did it to get people off her back, but you had showed me that that's not what happened, so first off I live in Canada so I don't know what the rule is over there but here 16 is legal as long as you don't physically have sex and if you're under 20, so her being 18 and the person being 16 doesn't really come off as a big deal to me, but the 14 yr old is indeed not ok, she shouldn't have been talking to them like that, but there's also a counter because at least she wasn't trying like actively start anything like she said she was talking about the characters, but still she shouldn't have talked like that, so from my perspective the 14 year old and the other one that she showed her chest to were the wrongdoings, but at least she admitted she was in the wrong and is trying to get better that shows that she's not some sadistic emotionless pedophile rapist that some people are saying she is
Really well-made video, great work! I'll admit, I've seen the whole situation go down since the very beginning, and I feel conflicted. On the one hand, there's really good points that hold up. On the other hand, there's the fact that most folks aren't willing to take the time to look at the evidence and jump to conclusions. Sadly, the majority of FNF has folks who haven't had the time to know how to handle situations like this, and thus they make it really hard to keep things in private. Also, with bad arguments like, "Separate the art from the artist, if you don't like the artist and their bad things, at least their art is really good!" and "This person did (anything terrible they could think of), don't trust them!", it really gets exhausting having to explain the truth when pretty much everyone has latched onto these sorts of false claims and parroting them everywhere they go. As for my personal take on the Revie situation? I'll say that while she's not completely innocent, she's also owned up to her actions and willing to move on from it and try to improve herself for the best. Also, most of the other team members aren't exactly innocent themselves, but at which extreme varies depending on who you ask and something I don't wish to talk about since it's a hot button topic. Besides, what's the point of talking about stuff like this in a mature manner when there will be that one person who will present bad arguments and turn it into a toxic conversation? TL: DR, I'm neutral to the whole thing, and I personally feel that the situation could've been handled better in hindsight. Otherwise, I enjoy the video. Moreso, they say it w/o giving context for the reasoning behind it. This isn't saying that it's inherently bad, but it's easily misused by folks who ignore/discredit people they disagree with.

After watching this video I'm would like to respond to some of the points made that I dissagre with. 13:12 huh? What do you mean sexual harassement? No one said Revie sexually harassed Kubi. People said this encounter was more a high school relationship due to the age gap. 22:48 Well here's the thing. People say that Revie is innocent in this instance because of the age gap being only 2 years and due to what happenes when you hit 18. When you turn 18 you don't have a switch button in your brain that makes you know everything. You're just an adult on paper but phisycally and mentally you're still a teenager. Which is what makes people think Revie joining that RP was okay. In this type of relationships, even tho one is officially an adult both sides still have the same mental capacity which makes it okay to date or do stuff like an RP (that didn't include nudes). And both Kubi and Revie live in the US, and the age of consent in majority of states is 16. So you can't really call Revie a pedo, groomer or sexual harasser over this encounter because of circumstances such as the age gap and being started by Kubi. 23:28 The reason people accussed Kubi of blackmailing Revie is because of what she said: "I was holding them for myself to keep you accountable. Just in case." Which means Kubi knew she wasn't groomed and wanted to use it as dirt against Revie to frame her in the future. While strangelly refusing to discuss the situation with her. And Kubi later deleted her Steam history after people started to point it out which made her claims look even more questionable and made her look pretty disshonest. Oh! Revie gived up and refused to defend herself because of huge pressure and being sent death threats and insults constantly. Revie is a transgender woman who is STILL tranzitioning. People like her easally have a mental decline under pressure. Which is why she made that tweet. Oh btw. One last thing. It depends what people mean when they say Revie is innocent. If you mean that Revie is innocent from doing bad stuff, or being a wierdo or a jerk, doing some mistakes, then no, she is not totally innocent. If you mean that she is innocent from doing a crime, or something that will send her in jail, then yes, she is totally innocent.
Agree with all your points here. Also, I honestly don't understand why some people won't just realize you don't grow up by age, but by experience. The more you aged, the more experience you are LIKELY to have depending on what you do. Age doesn't tell your experience. Being 18 doesn't automatically make you ready for sexual stuff, and being below 18 also doesn't make you not ready for them. Simply, it depends on experience, so if you don't have any experience about them, you're not ready and if you do, you are ready. Revie's hesitation before the ERP and her feeling guilty after it could somewhat show that it was her first ERP. KubiCorg on the other hand, had obviously participated in many ERPs before, meaning she has more experience than Revie in ERPs, therefore actually being more mature than her in that field. And with her actually being exposed for grooming, it wouldn't surprise me if she managed to manipulate Revie into doing the ERP with her.

when i first saw revie's content around like, 2019 or 2020, it was awesome tbh, seeing faker art and prob animations of him i seen before, but then after i realized about revie of what happened, kubi was the first one to ruin everything in the exe community.
Can you please cover the situation going on with Yanrinalla (someone who used to be part of the FNF community who was working on a mod called Rise of the Goth Punks, and got exposed for being an awful person which led to the mod getting canceled and redone without their involvement). Really sucks that Yan is trying to crawl their way back into the community while trying to diminish all their wrong doings even though they're public knowledge (harassment of another fnf modded Ramen) or available in a Google document callout post.
We all make mistakes but we learn and grow from these mistakes cancelling them isnt going to do shit but make there lives worse and them changing their actions impossible
Revie essentially fricked around and found out, and they found really bad stuff She might've not been innocent, but she owned up to her accusations She might've acted too trusting and naive with the things she did, but she's actually going to make sure none of that bull happens again She might've been harsh with some people even if she felt she had to or not, but when she got all those exaggerated accusations, everyone was a hundred times more harsh than what she ever could have said to someone in her life She might've not really seen what was so bad and sickening for everyone else that didn't like her before her controversy sparked, but after she noticed what was so bad and sickening, she actually wanted to purge herself off of it Most people that get caught with stuff like this sometimes just worsen up their case by just saying "sorry", but then they do those terrible things again, and again, and again, until they reach a certain point where they cannot save their social status So, I forgave Revie, because her wrongs were kinda minimal, and after she was bombarded with negativity for her minimal but exaggerated actions, she demonstrated to be one of those people that has two fingers in front of them and acually wanted to change her attitude and mindset, and make that change her interval in time where she learned to get rid of her old quirky and foolish attitude and not repeat what got her in trouble ever again And I'm glad most of us accepted her change as genuine, and we're now in good terms

It's goofy thinking the creators own the exe characters when there basically existing Characters of Sonic besides being original characters that isn't just alternative version of the same character being Sonic or any other Sonic characters besides making good music but when it comes to characters no this may have sounded off topic but not really because I don't know revive or any of the other creators at all even by watching this video idk who's in the right or wrong anymore if I were to make a Fnf mod I would use what exe who aren't really original characters but just many versions of Sonic tho I won't care if I get hated other a existing Character Nice video by the way
Well you say to not make this a game but then legit almost every big mod developer becomes some kind of criminal or just disappearing off the face of the earth it's hard to take any of this seriously especially because of the fact this game is about beeps and boops.

@@DDDuodeno En mi opinión, ese video hace un buen trabajo para cualquiera que quiera tomar partido y crear su propia conclusión sobre tales hechos, sin embargo, debo estar de acuerdo en que algunos puntos de ese video fueron un poco manipuladores y deshonestos con la situación en sí. Mi mayor problema con este video fue el hecho de que el OP sintió que no era culpa de Kubi que estaba manipulando Revie para hacer rolls sexuales con ella, después de todo era Kubi quien estaba presionando, no Revie. Kubi estaba manipulando a Revie para que hiciera ERP para su saciedad, por no mencionar que estaba actuando de una forma totalmente antinatural para una persona menor de edad. El argumento de que Kubi no se equivocó por tener juegos pornográficos o actuar como un adolescente cachondo por sexo, no se justifica al mismo buscar un amigo adulto para hacer algo sexual, después de todo, aunque Revie se equivocó al haber aceptado, y en esto estoy de acuerdo, el que se equivocó en primer lugar fue Kubi.

In My Opinion It's Best to Stay Neutral Like This, Seeing Both Sides Of the Story. The FNF Exe Community Is Very Shit When it Comes To Controversies (Amor, Avery, MarStarBro, RightBurst, Revie, etc) Okay Yes Sometimes You Will Have Actual Good Proof and Evidence to back Accusations up, But then Others Will just Come Swooping in Calling the Evidence Faked. (Which I find really Stupid Dumb and Annoying) My Opinions On The Exe Team Hasn't Changed as Much as you Would expect... For Starters I Still Like RightBurst (Despite the fact that They Have Outbursts, Backlash etc) I Still Like MarStarBro (Yes Apparently some People Hate Him) because Mar is a Talented Person aswell as Saster (Who Seems Most "Neutral" when it comes to these things) Just Because Revie is Innocent To An Extent It doesn't mean She Hasnt Done anything Wrong And this goes for the whole Team. So yeah I'm Still Neutral Between All This Drama. Atleast Revie is Trying to Get Better.

rightburst's flip flopping treatment of revie is so strange, i've never seen someone go between ''please do not harass this person, we've made up and moved past it :3'' to ''jump the mf and anyone who shows them any kind of positive attention'' every few days, i do genuinely wonder if there's something wrong with the guy with how many times he does it

Thank you. Like, seriously. This whole situation has been a huge shitstorm in the FNF and Sonic.exe community for months now but a lot of people still take everything at pure face value. What's worse is the fact that there are still people who like the character, and that should be okay. But for many it is not since they think liking the character is equal to supporting the creator. People were harassed and some were even doxxed for liking the character, this whole situation has caused a lot of pain to many people, which makes sense as to why they don't wanna talk about it anymore. There should be no sides for this argument, everything that happened is already done. Revie left the Internet. People try moving on but others don't let them. What i'm saying is, thanks for providing all the important evidence and giving your own point of view. This was a great video! Keep it up!
Good video, pretty informative, and called out arguments on both sides. Though, there's a couple arguments I'm not keen on. As far as I could see, people have acknowledged that Revie still goofed up by joining the RPs. The issue that a lot people have is that Kubi and Falsecow claimed that Revie was the one that advanced on them with the RPs, when the screenshots not only contradict that, but also show Revie being hesitant about joining. It was less so "Revie's an innocent bean, they're being manipulated" and moreso "Oh, Kubi lied about what went down in the chat. That kinda makes them less credible". Then there's the "Team framed Revie" claim, which isn't all that incorrect. Sure, Revie admitted that she definitely screwed, but some things were definitely taken out of context to make her look worse. Falsecow portraying Revie as pedo/groomer despite the nuances in those situations (The small age gap between Kubi and Revie, Revie showing hesitence in joining), Revie talking about the OCs and not DreamyCarrotz herself, Revie possibly not being aware that Carrotz was a minor until way later in the convo, RB saying that Revie manipulated people to kick him out the mod despite screenshots showing that it was an unanimous decision by the team with their own reasons to back up their decisions, etc. I ain't gonna act like Revie did nothing wrong, but some things were taken out of context a bit. This helps a lot. Man, now I look like an idiot for not realizing this sooner. Even though revie is innocent, she is not exempt from her wrongdoings. If Revie didn't erp with kubi, this entire situation could have been completely avoided. Sadly revie gave in to peer pressure and that's her responsibility at the end of the day. It also didn't help that falsecow and others were blowing this way out of proportion when in reality this could have been settled in DMs and be done with it, similar to the situation with Nominal and the VA who voiced final remnant.
@@DT_Soul_Main Honestly, while it's still something to be corrected, it's really a mistake a lot of us can easily make...there are a *lot* of messed up people in the world, and there are a lot of said people in this community, so I'm hardly surprised that we took a lot of these accusations at face value
