I’m going to Colorado next March and it’s a goal to fill a bag with garbage before I leave because I plan to hike a lot 🤷🏻‍♂️and well, garbage and marijuana 😂

I really don't believe that it is out-of-staters only that trash Colorado. Matter of fact I know it's not true.

I agree about dining out. sometimes that adds a whole new experience! the places they went weren't the best for eateries but still, maybe once a trip go to a local place.

Yes, having the food is a great way to get some culture, yet it also neglects the budget. However, we've been on many trips where we've eaten out for sure. Hell, our favorite place is in Boulder, CO and we even got a $19 Lobster Roll up in Portland, ME! If we go to Philly, you'll see us eating a hoagie, and if we're in Chicago, you bet your ass we'll be deep in some pizza. We'll just have to wait and see where our next venture takes us =]

Most people would travel to places and won't actually say how much they spend. And the way you actually say how much you spend helps a lot for someone trying to travel to colorado. Thank you

I’m planning a trip to Colorado with my husband and kids in the summer. Any recommendations on places to visit?

@@adrianaguzman1907 there is so much to do in the state of Colorado for families. We have a beautiful outdoor life, with many different levels of activity. We have a bustling City with plenty of culture. And good public transit to boot. Recommendations would really depend on the age of your children. Please note that coloradans are friendly by nature, but we are getting grumpy because of the overcrowding in our hometown. Please observe our roadway norms, such as using you are blinkers, and staying out of the far left-hand Lane except to pass. Also if you do any hiking or camping, please remember to pack out your trash. If your children are younger, I would check out the Children's Museum, and the Museum of Nature and Science. I would also make sure to go to Casa Bonita. However do not eat the food, and watch out for falling swords as they can injure you. Also many of our trails are easy enough for smaller children. If they're a little older I suggest making the drive to Bishop's Castle. Red Rocks is a novelty for people of all ages, and a great place to see a concert, however it is open to the public for free when there is not a concert, and people of all ages seem to find it quite a novelty. The Roaring Fork River is a very well known fly fishing river & I’ve driven over Independence Pass 4 or 5 times. The beautiful scenery kinda gets seared in your memory.

I'm from Florida actually. Colorado is an incredibly beautiful state and so much different than what I'm used to. I've been to Breckenridge to snowboard, but I really want to go back during the warmer months to hike and bike!
