Basically it's what you aim at. If you work hard at something that doesn't matter you'll never get rich. You'll make more money working little at the right thing than a lot at the wrong thing
My brother, the human body /being is a complete and total mix of all "animals". Just as one might get a mule by mating a horse and a donkey, or a liger by mating a lion and a tiger, the human body was made by "mating" all animal root species. It is the reason for your unlocked imagination (you can entertain anything in your mind. Anything). To simply put it - Animals are aspects; Humans are completed chimeras. The most telling sign is the unlocked imagination itself. And any being with unlocked imagination is considered "human". You are like anything and everything... yes?
we are BOTH. we are much more complex than these animals. we have a nature to work like an ox, long hours in the day for MONTHS. but we can also hunt like lions and work in high intensity intervals throughout the day. the key is combining both. Learning to balance comfort, intensity, and rest.
0:33 "we're not meant to graze all day .. we're meant to hunt" except that primates, who we're more closely related to than lions, spend all day eating plants and insects, not hunting. Any hunting that's been observed is for territorial combat not nutrition.
that's a bit of a meaningless comparison since primates aren't primarily omnivores lion also doesn't really match where you sleep all day and have bursts of energy we're closest to something like grizzly bears - lots of low energy scavenging while constantly and passively hunting large prey
@@NewSmithsonian the argument naval uses is closeness with relation to years of evolution, by far the closest relative to humans are primates in this definition in the video
@@vincebartle yeah I agree with that. Naval is the king of saying relatively meaningless things in a slow, deep inflection to make them seem more meaningful than they actually are
I believe this is a case where the analogy wasn't quite meant as a 1:1 correspondence, but I appreciate all authentic attempts at critique nonetheless and therefore thank you.
Chimpanzees don't just hunt for territory... They organize troops to hunt monkeys, routinely. In addition, we share common ancestry with the great apes, but are drastically different. If we had a secum that was same proportion to us as, say, a gorilla, our secum(second stomach, fermentation chamber) would be about a meter long. Ours(the appendix) is only about the size of our pinky finger. In addition, it is what is called a vestigial organ, meaning that it used to be used. But it has been used so infrequently for so long that it has shrunk almost into non-existence. We absolutely had an herbivorous past. But we are vastly different than our ancestors. So, in actuality, we do have a great deal more in common with lions, (in terms of our dietary structure) than we do with our ape relatives.
There is some truth to what he said not necessarily agree with the analogy. There are business owners who don't even have a high education level making BANK because they chose to work on the right things. Being good at sales, or people person is WAY more important than fancy analitical busienss stuff.
@@BowlerTheHatGuy yes I believe they will. I wanted to highlight that it is creepy that he's smiling through the realization. Makes him look sociopathic.
The bible says to consider the ant - Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! 7 It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, 8 yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.
Logical blunder. Naval states input of hours and output don't have a linear relationship. True. Naval then uses "athletes," in particular sprinters, as his model for how people should work. Does Naval even know the constant discipline and scheduled hours an athlete lives by? An athlete's life =\ lion's life Complete contradiction. Naval should go out and see how athletes live and then reassess.
mr. intellectual, for that , you need to be seen as a lion too, then only the deer will be afraid of you , and you can kill it, if you are born rabbit , then you will grow like a rabbit
Not at all. How much real work gets done at most 9-5 jobs? Probably an hour or two and thats its office chit chat, lunch, copious amounts of toilet breaks
The economy literally can't function in this way. Imagine if the restaurant you went to opened 'hard' for three weeks then took a month off. This is fucking stupid. People get rich, then they think that the way they got rich must apply to everyone else - it doesn't. More than that - it cannot.
Here's the thing. These Wana be alphas fuel incels. Whereas I support kindhearted individuals. I immediately win. Quality is everything. Quantity is nothing. Goodbye
Elizabeth Regina has really set the standard for others to follow. We love her here in the UK as she has been really helpful and changed lots of lives.
Such a genuine personality! Sincerely speaking, I will continue to trade and stick to Elizabeth Regina's daily signals and guides as long as they work well for me 😇
What kind of bs is this guy spitting just to justify his opinion? Humans are closer to herbivores than omnivores! Forget carnivores. He’s lying out of his teeth and people will just believe it because they support that opinion.
