Every building is also approved by the city's engineer. The city engineer would be the one to approve and decide what support, and materials should be used to build the building to avoid incidents. Hopefully, no strong earthquake would suddenly take these buildings down, like that's going to make a huge casualty and many lives would be in big danger.

Taking the tallest building on Billionaires Row, the Central Parking Tower, which is 1550 feet tall, I did the calculations and it would take an average of about 44 seconds to go from ground level to the top of the building. Actually, it would be somewhat less than that because the highest floor is lower than the top of the building.

@digitalkoh

@@Lazlo. You have the perspective all wrong. When considering one's wealth to donation ratio, wealthy don't even come close to ratio of giving of those of regular folks. Donating $1million when you've got $25 billion isn't the same type of giving as someone with $35k salary donating $20. Charity by the wealthy is usually nothing more than shallow gesture for recgonition or some other reciprocity in return. Of course, there are rare exceptions. The football Lad I am talking about NEW YORK CITY. Albany and Long Island are not nyc. Living in nyc with 60k is possible if you wanna live in a ghetto matchbox without saving any money and without kids ( which will happen eventually, its part of life). You will never be able to own anything and renting for so many years without building wealth in real estate is a waste of time and money. You could have multiple properties with 60k in other states. Thats my main point , the lost opportunity for you to be a landlord and buy other investment properties. Instead you live paycheck by paycheck renting a shitty 400 sq feet apartment. Not to mention that ny has horrible taxes , there is no income tax in some states. Open a llc in ny and your business will get eaten alive. My parents live in “ long island” and both nassau and suffolk county got ridiculously high property taxes. Properties went up a lot as well. No chance in hell to own a 500k property with 12k plus in property taxes with 60k a year lmao. And rents are extremely expensive as well. You will also need a car... good luck with that at fault , ridiculously high car insurance. Long island IS NOT CHEAP AT ALL either.

Hey B1M, I'm always impressed by your videos, I'm an architecture student and it would be very inspirational if you guys would do a video on construction of buildings in Europe before the industrial revolution, I always wondered how buildings in Paris and London and Rome were built without reinforced steel, for instance there floors, how are many levels of floors carried out without the use of steel and simply mortar and brick and other materials if we know floors undergo tension and steel combats it, it would be great since you guys make videos on the many types of construction. There are certain elements like vaults and buttresses but some buildings lack these supporting elements and still support weight without steel.
