I've always been aware of winterfalcon and I liked it but was, like many others, too busy with stucky. Though I always have loved their friendship and seb and anthony's banter. But after end game I've reaaly gone into the winterfalcon realm just cuz I felt so bad for Bucky and Sam for what Steve did to them. And especially after them spending most of their scenes together and them now getting their own show has made me just make my own lil fanon in my head and sharing it with others of basically them building eachother up again and being there for eachother and just the show being a funny buddy cop series. I just need that in my life. Idc if it's romantic or not. I just appreciate them.

This video is perfect timing. I was just watching some Mackie-Stan interviews and reading WinterFalcon fics. The hype is REAL for Falcon and the Winter Soldier. I'm just excited to see these two get some time in the fandom spotlight. The addage is true that to be the dominant pairing in most fandoms all you have to do is be two white guys in the same universe. Racism can color the ships and character people consider overtly and subconsciously. I don't think anyone is racist for not shipping WinterFalcon, (I'm very ship and let ship in that regard) but it is frustrating to see characters of color consistently overlooked by the majority of fandom for their white counterparts. This is an extremely nuanced topic and the lack of substantial people of color in most popular media definetly has an impact on who fandom discusses and I don't think all of that can be expressed in one RU-vid comment but I do hope characters of color do get more attention in general. Cause I need more fics about my faves

I've loved them since Civil war!! I lived on shitposts with Sam being as petty as possible to Bucky, and that escalating into an all out war... I needed the lightheartedness after all the heavy feels from the movie, and I've always thought that these two have a great chemestry together (maybe thanks to the close relationship of their actors). I can't wait for the tv show!!!!!

Endgame, followed by the announcement of a Sam & Bucky show, definitely brought this ship to my mind. I was one of those people who never gave much thought to WinterFalcon, I was firm either Steggy or Stucky no other option. Steggy became canon, but I never thought about any other ships for Bucky. Now I have a new one, and it works with my growing appreciation for Sam.

I loved Anthony's and Sebastian's friendship, but I didn't really start shipping Winterfalcon until after I watched endgame. It just jumped out to me tbh... I'm a multishipper but for some reason i just didn't really see it in canon, and then their (admittedly small) interactions in endgame just made me go "holy shit, why didn't i see it before????". I'm loving all of this marvel content you're making, keep it up 😊

I was wondering what Bucky's arc would be without Steve being so connected to the Avengers, since Steve is Bucky's only real connection to the team anyway. But I realized at the end when Sam was chosen to be the next Captain America that Bucky is probably going to fill the role that Nat did with Steve, canonically. That good hearted person with a dark and tragic history of bloodshed they're trying to atone for, and a Captain America trying to find his place in this new circumstance and position of responsibility they didn't see coming. Both being solid partners and friends. whether you ship both pairs or one over the other, or neither and just see them as canonical friendship, that's what I mostly see the new dynamic as.

I have been a big shipper of the rarepair that is the Barbershop Quartet OT4 for a while so these two have been on my radar as a subset of that ship. BTW, for those who don't know, the Barbershop Quartet is the ship name given to Bucky, Sam, Steve and Natasha due to the line that Cap made at the beginning of Winter Soldier about how all the guys in his barbershop quartet are dead. I also like polyshopping not only for shipping many characters I like together but also for the invidiual dynamics in the ship itself. In this case, WinterWidow, WinterFalcon, Stucky, etc.

Also, I never understood why the hatred sorts and I thought he was a cool grounded character oh, he is one of the few characters that can always have a great vision. He tried to do what's right but at the same time he does have a bit of a dark side all though he is the MCU character that can better control that side of him anybody has a problem with my baby falcon turn on your location I just want to have a friendly talk with my baseball bat

YES! Amazing video!! I started shipping them small with the car scene...Just the whole Sharon/Steve thing was pretty uncomfortable for me like it was forced and then they cut to Sam and Bucky being bitter in the car just seemed more interesting and potencially shippy to me (more than Steve and Sharon actually making out). Then I saw the interviews and loved the chemistry. But what made me turn this rare pair into an actual full-time ship (lol) was the amazing fanfic writers that turned to characters with minimum screentime together into a great ship. If anyone wants some good sambucky fics feel free to ask I love the amount of attention it´s getting!

I have never really thought about them as a couple until the end of Endgame, of course now, I really like it. It works great as a Brotp and a ship, which I think is important when it comes to shipping.

1. How long have I shipped them - I've shipped them since Civil War. I noticed their chemistry in the Civil War interviews. I even went back and watched their Winter Soldier interviews as well and I really enjoyed how energetic and chaotic they were compared to their calmer co- stars. They have inside/running jokes while they are getting interviewed, Mackie complements Stan quite often and they have nicknames for each other. Watching them made me wish they had more screen time together. I knew I was really invested in them when Infinity War interviews had come out and for a couple of days Sebastian was paired with other people and I was like "NOOOOOO". The stories for Sam/Bucky is quintessential enemies to friends to lovers and I love that trope. I like that Sam is weary of him and acts as a counterweight to Steve's unquestioning love. I really liked them working together to beat Spiderman and the best line is of course "You couldn't have done that earlier" "...I hate you" 2. Sam Wilson- I honestly really like Sam Wilson and ever since Endgame my hackles have been raised because I really feel like I have to defend the fact that he got the shield instead of Bucky. I understand that people love the relationship between Steve and Bucky but I hate how they make it like Sam was not also Steve's best friend (HE WAS HIS PLUS 1 DURING PEGGY'S FUNERAL COME ON!). After all the "Bucky should have gotten the shield" ," It should have been Bucky's voice that Steve heard first" , "Bucky should have been the one who walked up to Steve" I started to love Sam more because I could make a video titled "Why Sam Wilson deserved the shield" but everyone else is listing why Bucky didn't get it I'm surprised of the Sam Wilson controversy because AO3 actually has a tag 'Sam Wilson is a Good bro' but I guess he is only loved if he stays in the background

1) Yes! I love this paring! 2) I started shipping them after CA The Winter Soldier. I had other ships develop more from that movie (Stucky, SamSteve), but as a multishipper WinterFalcon was up there. 3) Endgame definitely made them an OTP for me now that Steve was canonically with Peggy. 4) I love their characters growth, but they both deserved waaaaay more screen time. I'm really sad about how some people in the fandom treat Sam. I think he's a fantastic character. He's super interesting and has so much potential.

Finally saw Endgame last weekend! So now I don't have to worry about spoilers. Super excited for Dark Phoenix next month and I'm so glad my semester is over, meaning more time for me to focus on my fanfiction writing

I Loved sam as a character but i wasnt a fan of bucky (please y'all dont kill me) but after endgame really got it there was a lot of chemistry i felt. So im quite excited about the tv show. I've actually never shipped them together, but completely love the way their relationship has developed through the films, especially in Civil War and in Endgame. I think Sam is such a good character too, and sometimes underrated or underappreciated because of Steve lengthy relationship with Bucky. I hope the show really gets us to a point where, like, these two are on equal footing it feels. And I'm excited to see how their relationship continues to develop. As a Stucky shipper, I've honestly never thought about these two romantically, but can definitely see where it's coming from. I was hoping for some mild canon Stucky in Endgame, and with that not happening, and their TV show, there is so much potential for these two. I'm excited to see what happens in the future!

1. I was an OT3 with Steve/Sam/Bucky. They’re all war vets, they’re willing to go the distance for each other, and they know the various aspects of feeling out of place. I mostly had Steve central to the ships but WinterFalcon has won me over. :) 2. I’m also glad you explained the impact of multiracial ships and why they may not be as readily accepted by fandom. 3. Another ship that popped up because of the press junket was M’Bucky. That chemistry with Winston Duke along with the long amount of time Bucky spent in Wakanda certainly helped. 4. Also in terms of Civil War, I was Team T’Challa. I’m so glad I did that little act of rebellion because he was the one I agreed with all the way! When I got to the finale of CW, I was so tempted to yell, “Y’all fell for that so easily! At least he knows it’s a trap!” I think I was one of a few people in my friend group who was neither Team Cap or Iron Man. They both had the right idea but terrible execution. I think it was also the bad buildup. It felt like the scene was just trying to see how many people they could throw into one battlefield rather than character morale. I also think CW should’ve been an Avengers film rather than a Captain America film. It had way too many threads loose for it to be a standalone and the frustrating thing is that Infinity War and Endgame completely dropped any opportunity to properly reconcile because Thanos. I think maybe because I've binged all of Sebastian and Anthony's interviews that I don't pair them romantically and see them much more as a strong friendship, as a person of color I can wholly agree that not only do people tend to gravitate more toward white male ships but also if both characters have some femininity in them. Sam Wilson can be very soft and kind but Anthony is incredibly straight and masculine that sometimes I can't separate the two- I think I just need to find more content on this ship that is romantic and I'll get use to the idea

1. I ship all the things! WinterFalcon, Stucky, Starkbucks, Freebird, and Stony. I also love some good Stuckony and Sam/Bucky/Steve. All of these characters deserve so much love and I've dabbled in it all. 2. It was the interactions on the press tours between Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan and their beautiful friendship that made me look into WinterFalcon and I've loved it ever since. I also love when a lot of that same light-hearted sort of banter and chemistry is incorporated in fics, with Sam teasing and hyping up Bucky like Anthony does to Seb (If anyone hasn't seen the way Anthony hypes up Seb, please treat yourself. There are many compilations and I promise you won't be able to stop smiling. Also Seb's blush = the cutest shit I've ever seen). 3. I feel like Sam and Bucky's relationship in Endgame (spoilers!) seemed stronger. They lean on one another for support and seemed to be mostly okay with Steve leaving because they have each other. If they were in the soul stone, I think those 5 years gave them a lot of time to grow closer and for their relationship to solidify. What you see at the funeral aren't two people who barely know each other or dislike one another. There's a deep respect there on both ends and you can tell they're close. 4. I honestly think that the MCU could treat these two better. I know that there wasn't enough time in the Infinity War and Endgame movies to give every character a chunk of time and growth, but after Civil War, it seems like the MCU put Bucky and Sam on the back burner. I'm very excited about the Falcon and Winter Soldier Disney+ show (in fact, I'm equally as excited about this one as I am for the Loki show) and I hope that they'll give them more much needed attention, show more vulnerabilities and positive interactions between the two, and of course give us more snark and sarcasm. 5. To anyone who claims Sam Wilson is boring: Have we been watching the same movies????

Hoo boy. I have to admit that I was never a huge fan of Bucky. Never hated him or anything, mind you, I always felt for him and his struggles just nowhere near to the extent many others did. I did get resentful for a while because I felt he was getting too much focus after Winter Soldier but looking back on it I think that was more because I was overloaded by seeing him everywhere in the fandom (And having an irl friend who is a huge fan of him and a massive Stucky shipper). So really overexposure was my main problem. I tended to keep that to myself though because of pretty much everything you mentioned above. It's weird though, because Loki arguably has the same problems but I love him XD ah well what can you do? I do really like Sam though, sure his role hasn't been huge but I've enjoyed every moment I've seen him on screen. And that scene with the two in the car did bring me on board to those two as a pair. The actors have great chemistry and I'm genuinely looking forward to this show.

SAMBUCKY RISE !!!

My origin shipping moment was not the “Can you move your seat up?”, but the post Spider-Man sprawled “You couldn’t have done that earlier?” “I hate you.” I was incredibly excited from when they first announced there was going to be a Falcon and Winter Soldier show. This was a pairing I rarely encountered at first in fics, being a fairly die hard fan of domestic Stony fics which tend towards ignoring more recent MCU developments to allow for happier fics. That said, I’m a multi shipper and always happy to find a new pairing I enjoy. Sam’s ability to accept Bucky as he is without the burdens of the past is exactly why I enjoy their fics. Though I’m a big fan of the OT3 of Steve/Sam/Bucky. I look forward to these two getting more fics. I’ve always liked Sam as character and wished he got more love in the fandom, so it’s nice to see him finally getting some of what he always deserved.

I was Team Sam/Bucky from my first viewing of TWS. And then, I saw some of the Mackie and Seb interviews and shipped it even more, LOL. Funnily enough, as a multishipper, I also pinged hard in all kinds of non-Hydra ships, but even now 5 years later, WinterFalcon remains my OTP ship for the MCU. Thankfully, I've yet to encounter any negativity about the ship or even Sam. Though, as someone who has shipped it from Day One (TWS), I have deffo noticed an uptick on ppl ~suddenly jumping on the Sam/Bucky ship because they didn't like the Stucky aspects in Endgame. Which, all right, the more, the merrier. I do hope that new-to-the-ship ppl will respect Sam (who is a BAMF character on his own.) FWWI, I wanted to see them team up on the big screen as soon as I saw them in IW in that 10-second clip where Bucky says "God, I love this place." However, hearing that Disney+ is gonna give us 6 hrs of Sam and Bucky sheananigans is one of the most wonderful things ever. Both actors seem pumped for it so I'm YAYS all around.

The fact that an alternate name for the Sam/Steve/Bucky ship is All Caps makes me very happy. 1) Yes. 2) I don't remember but it probably had to do with a car and someone not moving their seat up. Although for some reason Endgame made me ship theses two so hard...also lowkey blame the Winter Falcon announcement. Like, please let it be a romance. 3) I would literally die for Sam Wilson. I love him so much, and he is underappreciated. Bucky...is another story. I feel like he's over-hyped in fandom. I didn't really care about him. Like I guess cuz Steve cares, I care, but there hasn't been enough of him as an individual for me to care about. I think him being separated from Steve is probably best for the character.

I’ve watching videos that are MCU related for a while (also the OUAT pairings as well). 1) Yes, I’ve been a fan of them as a BrOTP since Civil War 2) I was actually a fan of the BrOT3 SteveSamBucky since the press tour of Civil War. The three actors have a really great comradeship. Also if you have a chance, you’ve touched on this subject in this video and another one but could you delve into the issues of interracial shipping (both canon and fanon) with some TV shows (particularly The Vampire Diaries, Suits, Sleepy Hollow). The ones I suggested are completed shows but the problems in fandoms remain the same. Okay thanks for reading my long paragraph 😊

But what I think is truly awesome is all the love the fandom has for Bucky, even though he has lass than 50min of screen time in the entire MCU.
