As a kid who was fortunate enough to grow up on PC, I didn’t understand the cultural impact of Halo CE until i was much older. I was playing Deus Ex and AVP2. Halo was completely inferior to those games to me. It wasn't until Halo 3 came out it finally clicked. This girl I was dating at the time was obsessed with the series, which let me view the series through her eyes. It was a humbling moment.
