Tyler Frederick I second the motion! The Aquitania and Majestic were such excellent, beautiful ships in their own distinct ways that I have to choose them both.

Any of the great ships from 1899 to about 1925 would have been worth sailing on: Oceanic (which started the golden age of the passenger liner), Olympic, Aquitania, Majestic, etc. All of them were such beautiful works of art. It's an age that will never happen again.

I like both ships but the Aquitania retained more of her pre-war ambiance. That and I really like her lines and four stacks. I think I would have gone with her. Or maybe I would have taken one of White Star's Big Four if not in a rush.
This is a tough one: two such excellent choices. If I have to choose only one I'll sail on the Majestic. I like the earlier comment from Tyler: one of the liners eastbound, the other westbound.
Majestic was a world war compensation to white star line. It's actually a German liner ss Bismarck, which was later named majestic. Aquitania was cunards own ship..last in lucitania class. Equally beautiful interiors and massive. In my personal opinion I love cunards aquitania ❤️

Yes, I realized that I'm crazy for finding the Aquitania elegant in the external superstructure, on the forecastle, really after a while it became quite deformed, at the time of the Second World War it was almost another floor, the first years of the bridge were the most beautiful, from 1914 until the beginning/mid 20s.
Well id surely go for Majestic any time. People fail to see her beauty and popularity. Even though i feel Aquitania was real game changer for cunatd in terms of luxury and beauty but if i had to compare overall then, its definitely Majestic for me. I mean she is what her name was.
RMS Aquitania rival is should be the RMS (HMHS) Britannic. And RMS Majestic rival is RMS Berengaria (well, actually both of them are sisters but has a different company). So sad that the Britannic never served as she has to be built as the RMS Aquitania rival
This is a hard decision because both are beautiful ships, but even though I'm more of a White Star fan, I would choose the Aquitania. I mean talk about reliable, and long lasting!

If I was there then my choice would by Aquitania. Slightly smaller but much more beautiful and sympathetic vessel. German three sisters Imperator(Berengaria), Vaterland(Leviathan) and Bismarck(Majestic) were not beautiful objects to cross Atlantic at that time. Also, among of all four stacker's, Aquitania was the most beautiful ship and earned nick name as Grand Old Lady.
Well. If everyone chooses to take a journey on the RMS Aquitaina, guess I have no choice but to follow them aboard the RMS Aquitaina, to Hawaii I guess... come aboard the RMS Majestic back home
Majestic was a beautiful ship too bad it had such a short operational life. It had structural issues, was expensive to operate plus after the merger Cunard was more inclined to scrap old white star ships and keep its own running until they were too old to keep certification which certainly helped aquitania.

Aquitania because her exterior lines have that perfect balance. Majestic had slightly more lavish perhaps excessive interiors but it's not like you'd be roughing it in Aquitania's 1st class so I'd still travel Cunard. I'd book return passage on Berengaria, Majestic's older more attractive sister.
