Ever wondered where KC started off? We did. KC Mathieu shared his story with us, and we caught up on The Road so far. The former Gas Monkey shared his path and a few behind the scenes pieces from his time on Fast N Loud.
Jeez Jerry I wish I was told that 10 yrs ago! My business partner was steered into growing the business, which he forced upon me..I never wanted to go down that road.. I wish we kept it small😔
That's awesome!! Im a collision painter and do some custom stuff on the side. I told my wife I know they are working all hours of the night to get those cars done. They make it look so easy on TV. Glad you got what you wanted KC. Seem like an awesome dude
KC, you were hands down my favorite person in the Gas Monkey line up. Few people know what it really takes to do what you do. I'm glad your still at it and hitting the reset button is a good thing from time to time. Best of luck to you and Keenan!!
Im so glad that you bought businesses local and and have the best staff in them and i can send my mom down there to get stuff done knowing its gonna be right
I think you should talk to someone about doing a documentary on Fast and Loud. For sure it would be a hit. I miss the show all the personality’s were great. The chemistry was there. Please pursue this. We also love your personal videos. Keep it coming and Thank You
Great to see you are having your passion and fun back in your work . I had the same ( without the TV thing ) , worked 7 days a week 14 hours a day and thought to myself what the h3ll am I doing ... Opened a shop with a buddy and work only when I want and completely stress free
Great to see you again! I remember watching you all the time in the past at GMG. I always wondered what happened to you. Life!!! That’s what happened. You never know the road you end up on in your lifetime. Congrats brother doing what makes you happy!! 👍🏻😎
Its cool to see you guys happy. I have my shop now for 30 years and i can relate to your story. I love what I do but my employees drive me crazy. I think about my exit strategy every day. Not there yet but its close.
About time someone tells the real behind stories on how hard things are of good and BAD doing repair and series. KC right make a documentary on these things.
K.C. it's good to see you again.. Do you have any videos of the builds on the blue Chevy behind you and the yellow classic Ford.. Looking to more videos in the future...Take care my friend...

Damn cool story KC , I had no idea it went down like that on GMG , well good for you young man on not taking any shit and moving on, keep up the good work , I have to say you always made me laugh on some of the scenes on GMG garage 🤣 you're a badass driver fantastic painter like I said I wish you all the best hope to see other videos of how you're doing my name is Robert out of California ✌
Not really clear on what was actual reason he got all fired up and quit. And what was his problem with the rest of the cast? Says he only said goodbye to Arron and Keenan. Anyone???
More power to you, most of us understood the b.s being presented vs the actual time and talent required to pull off the final results. Sadly a lot of us also would patiently watch a real build of a car, truck, boat, bike whatever. Reality tv producers have to actually grasp reality,I'm pretty sure the market is over saturated and ultimately will self implode unless honesty can once again rear it's ugly(?) head.
The problem is real car guys see through the bs deadlines and drama but suffer through it to see what really talented people build. I would love to see a show that actually respected the craft rather than the drama.
Why cant this dude give us content he is dope but doesnt wanna share his skills i understand but dame ...gelp us white folks out like people in his life helped him out dam..boy
