Hi Jamerrill, I don’t comment often, but I’ve been watching you since the farmhouse days. I know you have been going through a terrible time and I just wanted you to know that I think of you often. I know it sounds a little strange, but I’ll just randomly think-I wonder how Jamerrill is doing. All that to say that many miles away I am thinking of you, cheering you on and sending love your way 💛. I’ve had my own struggles and trauma the last couple years and if I’ve learned anything, it’s that happiness and sadness can co-exist and there is beauty in the broken. Good job Mama on the solo parent vacation!! Your kids will appreciate you for this one. After my divorce in the 90’s I loaded up our 4 sons in the ford Taurus.. this was in the dark ages before cell phones. 😆 I drove from Minnesota to Kansas to visit family. To this day my sons still talk about that trip. 🤪 Barfing on the way home, stopping at the Kmart bathroom to clean everyone up. Needless to say, none of them ever ate pop tarts again. 🤣 Memories were made that’s all that mattered. ❤

I live on the Outer Banks and worked in Property Management/Rentals for over 20 years. You mentiond not being able to take "things" back with you (food) and I would offer this... leave what you don't/can't use in the house. Some rental companies have a non-perishable drop box at their office- we did at the company I worked for & we would donate it to the local food bank., Alternatively, leave it in the house just 'cause. A lot of housekeepers in our area travel over an hour or more to clean those houses on turnover day. Depending on the company policy for the company they work for, a lot of them are able to take those things home. We're talking toilet paper, paper towels, food, etc.... It makes a difference for a lot of people. As they say, "Another man's trash is another man's treasure"

Will you followers of our great Jammerill please say a few prayers for my daughter. She has been diagnosed with brain cancer and has had surgery and is about to start radiation and chemo really soon. Please keep her in your prayers as she really needs them. Thank you so much.

Aw Sweetie. I have so many huge feelings about your day. 12 years ago, I had a very special week planned for myself to celebrate every accomplishment of mine. 2 days before that trip, my world exploded. Thankfully, my sister managed canceling my trip and swaddling me like she'd done when we were both 55 years younger. Now, today our chat (you and me) has reminded me that I never rescheduled. I'm going to do that now and will think of you while I do the planning, packing and the trip. Hang in there Jamerrill. You WILL continue to learn to live and grow with your new life

There is nothing more satisfying than using up the last of things. I still hear my great grandmother say "use it up and wear it out". Every time I make a meal using up the previous meal or leftover ingredients, I always think of her. Lord I love that generation!!

Jamerrill, I feel your pain and I am so sorry for your loss. I so want to just reach through the screen and give you a hug! I suffered a second trimester miscarriage over this past Thanksgiving and I haven’t been the same since. The pain is indescribable and feels never ending. The constant ache in my chest, and feeling guilty because I do have 2 beautiful children and I am grateful for them, but the guilt over the feeling of wanting more. If that even makes sense… it’s incredibly hard. And incredibly isolating. It’s like a constant grieving process. I truly do feel for you. I’m going to pray for you, Jamerrill 🙏🏻 I’m going to pray for solace and peace in your heart 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️ You’re not alone, and you are loved!

I just want to say how wonderful it is that you do your best with your gluten free folks and doing your best for them to not feel left out. I had dietary restrictions begin when I was 12 and my dad was the best about it. My mother to this day acts like they don’t exist or I’m blowing it out of proportion, as do many adults I’ve dealt with in the past 18 years since this began. It sounds like everyone had tons of fun, and I think it’s a trip you all needed after life craziness!
