On the way to visit one of the districts on my all-time list of 'Places I Want to Go in Thailand,’ (called “Om Koi”), on Day 1 I ride 212km through the ChomThong, DoiTao, and Li districts.
Tons of new roads, thousands of gorgeous countryside views, riding through fruit orchards and local markets, it is such a blessing to be able to boost the spirits of a few local business owners along the way.
Although, as always, even though I do know that places like these need business right now, it is still a blessing to ME, being able to experience life with them, especially during times like these, and for this I continue to be so thankful.
Tomorrow's video will include some insanely steep mountain climbing, a visit to a village and a people group whom I know very little about, and I hope you enjoy this whole mini-series (which will be 3 videos).
Right now, as of June 14, 2020, I am planning both many more short cycling trips like this, exploring as far as I can into the local culture that surrounds me, while at the same time wondering and waiting for the day that I can get back to planning out volunteering trips to take part in local education (at local schools) as well.
Thanks SO much for joining me in this, I love to read your comments, I really, really enjoy them... so thank you for giving me your time, for sharing your own reactions to these little stories with me, and I hope these videos continue to be a blessing to you!
Thanks for watching, much love!! See you for the next one :)
