F1 cars do not have air jacks. They use hand jacks as the air jack system adds weight to the car and they are just as fast with hand jacks, which also don't malfunction. The real reason F1 pitstops are so fast is that the rules allow for an unlimited amount of people to be "set" when the car enters the pit. NASCAR allows for only five crew members to go over the barrier wall (which also doesn't exist in F1) and none can do so until the car has come to a stop in the pit box.

In movies where so much is either CGI and pretty much everything is fake, why would they ever use a real gun?
