There was another study I saw that tested this and showed the keto dieters that re-fed with carbs before measuring lean mass actually had showed more muscle growth

The main problem with the ketogenic diet is that it is too low in protein. If we can just keep carbs low with adequate proteins & fats we may get good results, fat loss, strength, anaerobic fitness, stamina and so on.

You can have 200 grams of protein and still easily be in a keto lifestyle, tf are you talking about?

Is a ketogenic diet not just the removal of carbs or strictly limiting them to tiny margins? Don’t people on keto diets literally eat as much protein as they want? Or is it something else?

@@dereklenz3340traditional ketogenic diets limit protein as to not cause blood glucose spikes (protein gets converted to glucose in the liver, though at a very slow pace).

I agree. I really think a lot of the studies are garbage because there are too many variables the biggest one being that people are individuals. We don't all react the same way to everything so it's hard to come up with generalities on very detailed things. That's why we have so many studies that seem to contradict other studies. Seems like you can find a study to back up whatever you want cuz there's one out there.

Human biology isn't so drastically different than there isn't an average for the majority. We don't quit because of outliers.

Yes. He says he never reduced his exercise volume and intensity though which explains it.
