Well, let me just start by saying I'm honored to be uploading this, and the official Stones channel should really upload this full show, meanwhile they don't, I will!
This show happened two days ago at the Staples Center, L.A.; The Stones started their 50 & Counting tour (officially, in 2013), and I hope they come to Brazil! hahah
They're old, but not weak, and Jagger still can jump around growling his songs around (That's what he's been doing, he barely sings the songs now, it's sad), Keith is now back on the backin' vocals, Charlie seems un-inspired and that's a poor shame, even though he's playing alright, Ron is Ron; This opening show could not open (Weird sentence) without some guests; Keith Urban, on Respectable, who I don't care very much, and the ''Hollaback Girl'', Gwen Stefani, on Wild Horses, who I care even less; Plus, the ''now I'm back, bitches'' eternal Mick Taylor, playing some rockin' '72-ish guitar solos
Well, enjoy the new show! More to come, I suppose
*Emotional Rescue is brought up, really, the highlight of the show!
*Audience recording btw; That's why I want an official upload by The Rolling Stones channel

I just saw them for the first time on Sunday in Oakland. What an amazing show. Yes they look old, but they sounded great. It was so amazing to finally see The Rolling Stones live. Jagger still has the moves

the audience sounds like they were at a basketball game, and not really a concert, except for the "wonderful" singalongs. thanks for posting. beat l.a.!

First of all I went to this show, and I have seen them 9 times starting in 72, and unlike all previous shows it didn't take them 3 songs to warm up. There is no video on here that has anywhere near the actual sound of the show. I was in section 101 5 rows from the floor and the sound was great, there were by all accounts only 2 gaffs, but I have heard the Stones play a lot worse than this, I loved the show, and the vocals were right on and they were way better than "good for their age"

Thank you very much, George, great work. Do you think you could get your hands on a recording from the second LA show on May / 20? Would love to hear Knockin with MT and Far Away Eyes.

This is called (for me) the Emotional Rescue tour like the "No Security" tour in '99 should have been called the Some Girls tour! It took a few decades but was worth the wait and touring on EM in "80" might have been a disaster especially after Some Girls in 1978 so it was good to wait until Tattoo You in '81 to do all 3! Did you know the MACCA tour I'm calling the Sgt.Pepper tour, CHECK OUT BRAZIL 5/4-5 NOW! What a great summer ahead, vacations should be hurting,Beatles and Stones come NOW!!!!!

You're quite right in that point my friend! Emotional Rescue tour sounds better than 50 & Counting for me;

Did you tape the show? Thank you for posting the gig! Planning on recording two Chicago gigs but unsure about sound etc... $85 lottery tickets for me! Your description is spot on btw. They are not 'better than ever' or any of that stuff. All hardcore fans who genuinely love the band know that they are playing 'great for their age' and nothing beyond that. They need to ditch the guests, let Mick Taylor play on 3 songs and stop the warhorse setlist!

Loved when they did "Tears Go By" with Taylor Swift. She is the best artist in her genre right now and a really sweet person.

No I didn't, found a bootleg on internet 2 days after the show itself! Isn't that amazing?! Yes, they're ''good for the age''; I would love to hear Mick Taylor playing these ones: Midnight Rambler, as it is, Gimme Shelter and Time Waits for No One! These are his shining moments :D

Well, I can't agree with you, because I've only listened to this recording; I'm sure that live it's better, if I'm sure of anything in my life; But you can't say, live or not, that Jagger sounds as good as, idk, '73 or '81; He just does not, the age changed a lot and that's why I rate the '00 years as ''Good for the age'', since he's doing ok, but has declined

Of course they are not better than ever. They peaked in 1972. Ditch the guests, agreed. Let Taylor play on three songs? Surely you mean 30! And stop going through the motions with the "warhorse" stuff. Also agreed.
