Same setlist as Cincinnati. It was my first time seeing them and it was one of the most incredible concert experiences I have ever had. My friends and I still talk about that show today.
I've seen them a ton of times. Some shows they would dial it in, but boy when they showed up. They had somethign that no other act had. Not sure what it was.
I saw this in Los Angeles California. The night I went was the most exciting entrance and exit I have ever witnessed in my lifetime and that will stick until the day I die!!! And then the most polished performance of the iconic songs of the Stones. Special guest star was Eric Clapton playing lead on Little Red Rooster. (have to double check the song title). One of the best concerts I have seen and I have seen pretty much all of the big concerts over time. First time on seeing the Stones. I have seen them on every tour after. The Stones go all out on expenses from stage to lighting to sound system to the incredible pyrotechnics at beginning and ending of the show.
I was there too but in Boston. I didn't think they could have pulled the song Bitch live but they did and did a great job thanks to the eternal Bobby Keys. I hope he's playing sax to the angels and trashing hotel rooms in heaven.
I was there. We drove 40 hours from the prairies to see it, thinking this could be the last chance to see them live in concert. Boy, were we wrong. I remember it was too darned loud and didn't sound that great from orbit (ok, row 50 or thereabouts). The back up back was hard rockers Living Color.
45:45 One Hit (To The Body) The only time "one hit to the body" is in the set list is during the steel wheel tour. This sound source is very valuable. The sound quality is not bad.
I've been to three Rolling Stones concerts. I went to the Steel Wheels concert but I don't remember if it was in North Carolina or South Carolina. I went to see them twice in N.C. and once in S.C. It was great!
fisch kopf Honestly I agree. You've got to go all the way back to "Get your ya ya's out" 1969. Try midnight rambler. Possibly the best live recording ever of any band.
