I represented a roofing manufacturer for 30 years . When someone mentioned. the perfect storm as a reason for short supply .. I reminded them that all the boat mates and the captain in the book and movie died .. for Swordfish . and it was a choice they made .. for money I suggested they use another analogy 🤣
I would agree, mostly with all of this. The only thing is his insurance companies now are only giving you a certain amount of time to file a claim from the date of loss or they will not cover the damage.
I’m April of this year, we had bad hail & wind storms in my area. After seeing several houses with damage, I called a roofing company for an inspection. They office person asked if I had any water intrusion or visible damage, which I did not, if they can call me back because they were giving priority to damaged homeowners. Totally understandable, they haven’t called back. My neighbor had his roof done and I looked into that company and I’m now going through the claim process. This is my first time filing a claim for damage and I don’t know why, it it stressing me out a bit. Lol I feel some sort of anxiety. 🤷🏽♂️
@@homesteadroofing Ya, well, I built my house with these 2 hands, foundation to ridge cap, and I can tell you there is no shortage of contractors over billing for labor and pretending they are the only guys that know how something is done, which I assume is how you are able to conduct business in Colorado Springs to begin with...
