@@krissiehunt319 hanging à piece means you leave it undefended Blitz is between 3-5 min each side per game Pin is when you can't move a piece or pawn either because you would be in check (=absolute pin) or because you would lose material quality (=relative pin)

@Krissie Hunt hanging: your opponent is able to capture your piece without giving up more material than your piece is worth. Blitz: chess, but you only have 3-5 minutes total to play your moves. Pin: A king/queen is pinned if there's an enemy piece attacking it, but one of your pieces is blocking that attack. Now that piece can't move because you can't move into check, and is said to be pinned.
