It is said "That man (Woosung) sings in cursive"!.😍 He has a very distinct sound and he is an amazing performer, very charismatic. I was lucky enough to have attended Epik High w/ Woosung(in Vegas) and it was incredible. I've been a Blackrose since debut and I'm so thrilled they're able to be with us again. Their discography might be small but powerful. Woosung's cover of Lany's ILYSB is highly recommended. All of The Rose's songs are freaking art anyway..Thank You so much for your reaction!! 🥀
I love the Rose so much. One of the best K Indie Bands! Woosung is such an interesting artist and he has a solo album as well! He was on Dive Studios show with Ashley, BM, and others and was really open about how he started as an artist. Any ways, I am happy you like them as well and hope you do a deep dive into there music.
I'm not sure I'd trust someone who said they didn't like The Rose. I'd side-eye them HARD even if it's not your favorite type of music. Woosung has such a unique voice, so I highly recommend watching his solo stuff. He made solo things during the lawsuit process, and during that same time all the Korea-born members were serving their enlistment time. That they ended up having to do the lawsuit thing is so sad. They're MAD talented, and they all have just beautiful stories they tell. Real tattoo is real, btw ;) Dojoon's voice is such a gorgeous contrast to Woosung's, even though there are times when it's hard to tell them apart and other times when it's readily apparent. It always amuses me that they have a visual who _isn't_ Woosung, but then I see Jaehyeong and I'm like, "well, okay," about it. He's stunning. Hajoon is so charismatic, which is surprising for a drummer. They're an exceptional group. (PS, Childhood does have some Korean lyrics, they just don't stand out so much). Highly recommend Red, She's in the Rain (which has an interesting sand visualization), and Like We Used To is underrated. Beauty and the Beast was the last they had to release for the old label, but it's a masterpiece.
I'm a huge EXO-L, but I think idol groups do overshadow other artist like bands such as the rose. I think if they were in the US, they'd have been huge. Thank you for introducing me to great artists!

I think the colour palette on the song and the filter used on the "sour" mv must be some of woosunng Synesthesia doing... He asociates colors with songs and emotions and that is probably why the sour video has that palette, it may represent the sourness and lyrics of the song. He did the same on his "moth" album, he asociated every track with a colour and put the official audio of the song that was on yt with it... i totally recommend checking out that album (it came out this year too) bc it has only 4 songs and all of them are beautiful.
Wow I have never watched other Groups reaction apart from the group i Stan . But I heard snippets of “ Sorry” from insta I loved it. I haven’t heard other songs from them just saw The Rose reaction and I clicked wow the vocals are Everything🥹❤I think I will check them out more.

(Although I don’t like the last word of the whole song which made me a little sad it was in it but I still consider it one of my favorite songs ever…it is so relatable and love the production) Beautiful is just a cute well made and that I really enjoy listening to.
Their recent album “Heal” is amazing. And also they tend to do more English based things coz their fan base is basically all international and more outside of Asia
If you get a chance, definitely check out their new album, "Heal." The Rose (along with everyone else!) went through a lot the last few years, and the whole concept of the album is one of healing. The majority of the songs are in English. They asked fans to submit stories about things that they've healed from or that they need to heal from, and those stories inspired songs on the album. Their tour is called the Heal Together tour, as they really want to use their music as a way to heal themselves and to inspire healing in others.
Like me, you first were caught by the unique beauty of Woosung's voice. The melancholy mood of their debut is perfectly suited to their vocal colors. Thanks for being such a genuine and respectful listener!

Oh yay! What a surprise - I love The Rose! I traveled to Paris 4 years ago to see them - there were only about 500 Black Roses there, but the atmosphere was so electric that it felt like thousands! It was such a fun show and they performed several unrecorded original songs and took audience requests for covers too (their tracklist wasn't that big back then). I think Baby and RED are two of my favorite songs from them. As a group, they're an absolute mess together (Hey It's Feii did a hilarious interview with them some years ago, it's worth checking out) which we love them for. There's a legendary version of Baby "the Baby cover" which they performed on childrens musical instruments. It sounds very silly and it is, but watching Hajoon go ham on a plastic drum kit sure does brighten a bad day haha
Whooohoooo the rose😍😍😍 their new album is about stories of real people. They asked their fans to send them stories of their life and theyll make a song out of it. Its mostly English for this album. Check their old album as well . They have great songs

I found The Rose like 6-12months ago (sorry idk when), but loved majority of their music. They probably would be considered the next group after BTS I enjoy. - -From their recent releases album Childhood and Definition of Ugly are my favorites. -My favorite songs in general: Sorry, Insomia, She’s in the rain, Take Me Down -Woosung solo songs: Lazy (personal favorite), Beautiful Girl (I believe first song he had written). Woosung sang Snooze with Agust D on DDay, and I immediately went and checked out The Rose. I'm in love with his voice!!! I also love the song She's In The Rain. Childhood is a masterpiece.

whatever language comes up when they're inspired, they use it. They were in America when they worked on their last album so they were mostly speaking english which is why those songs are in english.
Thank you so much for reacting to The Rose! It was powerful to hear your perspective on Childhood. I cry every time I hear it; I can't help sobbing. When I was very young someone I loved told me I would never be a writer and that everyone was lying to me when they told me I was good. And I stopped writing. I didn't really care what happened to me. I got married and had kids but all the time, I felt like I was living someone else's life. I regretted every day. Then my kids moved out and I had nothing. One day I started writing the stories I had been creating in my mind for years. I remember who I am and I stopped living a life of regret. Every time I hear this song, I stop and cry. Then I sit down and write something. That's what the song means to me. It was really moving to see how it affected you as well. Thank you.
All four members are talented vocally, though Sammy and Dojoon do nearly all the singing while Jaehyeong and Hajoon mostly do backing and some harmonies. I remember going to their first tour in 2018 and not really knowing anything about them aside from their small discography they had at the time. Had no idea Jaehyeong and Hajoon could sing so well, I was blown away when they sang a ballad together on that tour. Meanwhile, Woosung and Dojoon did a hiphop song together that I sincerely wish they'd do again on tour someday. xD It was actually really nice going before I knew much about them since I learned so much about them just during that concert and was blown away by how talented they are.
I love them so much!! I HIGHLY recommend she's in the rain and beauty and the beast. Both have music videos. I don't think they have English lyrics - none of their old stuff did i don't think. Hahaha
