It's funny how you only noticed Dojoon/Leo's voice (keyboard) in "She's in the Rain" but didn't notice it in Sorry! I love both of their voices, actually the four of them can sing very well. The Rose is amazing and if you want to see them perform live they're going on tour in October.

cannot tell you how excited I am that you have started to react to the Rose. These guys are phenomenal musicians/singers and also adorable and sweet together - four of the finest guys that deserved so much better from their agency. They are still together. They broke the contract with their agency; they're independent now. They are Woosung, Korean-American, guitarist & vocalist; Dojoon, Korean, keyboardist & vocalist (also acoustic guitar); Hajoon, Korean, drummer (also rapper/sub-vocalist); and Jaehyeong, Korean, bassist (also sub-vocalist). The three Koreans are doing their military service and Woosung is keeping the flame burning for the band while releasing two solos. They will finish their military duty in the next few months. Here are the songs I think you should react to and there's a lot. Really everything they've done is a banger, a bop or a beautiful ballad. In addition, there are OST songs Woosung (or by his American name Sammy) has released and they're wonderful as well. The guy's a lyrical genius. His music is different and with that unbelievably unique voice, he rarely is ever has a miss. Here's a list you could react to, but again every one of those is incredible as well. I discovered The Rose after Dreamcatcher and Day6. Loved how they have a level of maturity compared to 99% of kpop groups/bands. They’re not my favorite band, but I appreciate what they bring to the table. Reminds me a lot of Lifehouse, The Fray, and Dishwalla. Nostalgic. Would love to experience seeing them perform live

My favorite song by them is Strangers. I was watching a kdrama (Strangers From Hell), and this song was its OST. What a mesmerizing masterpiece it is! Definitely recommend to check it out ❤

I knew you'd enjoy them! The Rose just finishing their military obligations, except for Sammy (Woosung) who is Korean American. Lots of new music to come! They were treated horribly by their record company and finally got free of them through the court. They're now independent and need all the support we can give them. Support Woosung's solo music as well!

Woosung the leadsinger is from California and went to South Korea barely speaking Korean. The other 3 guys asked him to sing a song with Them while they performed on the street and do started The Rose. His voice is very characterestic and and like them a lot. My daughter went to their show in the Netherlands for a few years ago and to his solo concert this year. His English nickname is Sammy btw hahahaha. His solo cd's are also very good.

The Rose is one of a small handful of "real bands" from Korea that I really love and hope get more recognition. May I recommend to you the band LUCY, who came in 2nd on "Superband" and are unique in having violin as an integral part of their sound. They are cool, fun, quirky, hip and pure joy to have as your daily soundtrack. Check out "Flowering", "Snooze", "Straight Line", "Hero" and "Flare".

YES~!! The Rose is the artist that got me into kpop. They’re so talented and so amazing. They’re songs always have an amazing meaning to it. They’re just my absolute favorite. Thank you so much for reacting to them~!!

It's always fun to watch people react to The Rose. Woosung's voice has everyone saying "he's so emotional" and things, and then you hear his solo stuff and realize that's just how his amazing voice sounds. Of course he's got a ridiculous amount of vocal control, too, but it's just how brilliant he sounds. Being born in America and raised in California, Woosung wasn't required to join the military, so he released solo things while other members were serving. I'd recommend Face, Lazy (my all-time favorite song), Dimples, and his most recent, Phase Me (on repeat for me since release). They're all multi-talented and just so, so good. I'm glad you're getting a chance to see them in action. Check out Baby, ILYSB (a cover, but from the same Warehouse performance series). Welcome to the addiction!

The Rose is a fantastic band that I discovered with Sorry also in 2019. Woosung and Dojoon complement each other very well vocally. And they are really a group of friends and it's really fun to watch their offbeat TikTok🤣!!! They were able to leave their agencies with whom they were in trial. They are in the agency that Woosung created. By the way Woosung has a great solo career and his last EP Phase Me is excellent, I recommend it. Dojoon, Hajoon and Jaehyeong have finished their military services and they should come back soon with a new album that we are looking forward to!😍 Their latest song "Beauty and the Beast" is beautiful!

Since you loved Woosung’s voice a lot (like everybody that gets to listen to him lmao) I reaaaally recommend you to listen to his solo songs too! He debuted solo with the song “FACE” and seriously, you will fall in love with his voice even more. You could listen to Lonely, Phase me and Lazy, to say a few of his other songs. For other The Rose songs, I super recommend to listen to “Baby”, “Strangers”, “Insomnia”, “Black Rose” and “Beauty and the Beast” !!! 🖤

I skipped this episode a year ago since I didn’t know who they are. But I just discovered The Rose while casually flipping through Coachella 2024 video clips two weeks ago. I was immediately captivated! They’re fantastic! So now, I’ve been playing their music exclusively . I’m also making up for lost time and going back to various reaction videos, like yours, from a year ago. I’m so disappointed to learn that the band completed their U.S. tour a few months ago. One of the stops was near me - imagine, I could have seen them live! The Rose had a European tour recent,y and one of the stops was London. Did you catch their concert?

The Rose are so talented, I just got into them because of my friend and I regret not knowing them earlier. If you enjoy their music I'd recommend to listen to Take me down and Black Rose. Both songs are incredibly beautiful and kind of my favourites so far. Also their cover of Marry you is worth watching, it is so good.

you should check out Woosung's solo songs too! My favorites are Dimples, Phase Me and You make me back (this was an OST for Itaewon Class btw). I think you would like these because it has such a good instrument, rock vibes:))

You should check out their whole discography (it's quite short haha) but my favorite songs are definitely candy (so good) and their cover of ILYSB. There are some other bands you can check out too such as Day6!

I found them before Covid started but lost track of them. Rediscovered them again when Woosung starred on Suga’s “Snooze”. I love his voice and their music is great.

So sad i just found your reaction, but I'm glad you love them. I remember finding the song Sorry like 30 minutes after it was released and falling in love, they are one of my favorite bands. You should react to Hoppipolla they are amazing, they have left their company and are mostly doing solo projects. Some of my favorite songs of theirs are Unnatural, My Husband, Let's, & Opfern.

You really need to listen to their cover of ILYSB. It's so basic and so enticing, like it brings you into the performance. Also watch their tiktoks. They are hilarious.

I think that BTS has introduced so many people to the Rose, I know they did that for me. I am so grateful that I found these guys. They are really amazing, singing in both Korean and English which clearly shows their range. Yoongi's D-Day Snooze helps to show off Woosung's range.
