Prince Philip was a true Prince and gentleman and a support to the Queen

A Prince who was never a King but performed his duties discreetly and earned a name that UK could proudly say PRINCE PHILIP.

I can't imagine how badly she misses him. 😔

What a remarkable human being, the Queen was so fortunate to recognise in him the best person for her well-being in her future Royal life, amazing.

Philip was a man's man, and also a loving and supporting husband and loving father. Most men couldn't or wouldn't support his wife as a Queen, but he knew what he had to do.

A truly authentic man, who was very comfortable in his skin. I aspire to be like how he was...confident and real.

What a lovely tribute to a man who will go down in history as a queens consort. But he was so much more than that. He was a man of his time, but with a canny eye on the future. A real renaissance man.

Sadly its apart of life we will lose everyone, but there some people who will live forever Prince Philip is one of them, anyone with respect will have maybe a small tear when watching something moving and nice like this, he went past his duties and became a great family man and the hand to the Queen, Prince Philip hope you looking down on us and having fun !

Prince Philip was a giant amongst men, Royal, loyal and his own man, the likes of which we will not see again. He never complained and took his place besides our beautiful Queen seriously. He was fun, interesting and honest, he did not tolerate fouls lightly and stood by and loved our Queen all his life. We were very lucky to have a great man like him in our lives.

It’s still so strange to think he’s no longer with us. Rest in Peace, Sir.

What a very fine man he was❤ It's visible how big of a loss it's been for all of them. My heart breaks when I see Prince Charles, his grief is so apparent.

A touching tribute delivered with sincerity on the part of each family member. The clips that were put together show what a tremendous variety of situations in which Prince Phillip and the young Queen were ordinary parents, diplomats, dignitaries and a couple. Well thought out and touching.

Prince Phillip was a real man! He always supported his wife, the love of his life and Queen of England! They both were loyal and dignified and served the UK/Commonwealth! They were never greedy or disloyal in their service. He is missed by family and friends and country!

I'm not a fan of the royals but Prince Philip was a man who commanded respect a very decorated soldier who served his country tremendously. A man who put his Queen and country above all else I assume he was invaluable counsel to the Queen and he will be sorely missed. 🙏🏻

A wonderful programme! The tributes were so heartfelt and, it was obvious how loved and respected the Duke was and, how he impacted on their lives. Particularly enjoyed seeing Lady Louise, who has inherited his passion for carriage racing. Delightful young lady. The only downside for me was the inclusion of the errant grandson, whose sentiments sounded like everything else he says these days: totally hypocritical and, sadly insincere!

It's so sad he has left this earth. To be married for seventy is along time. I know he is missed by his love one's and especially the queen. They have my condolences and pray that it will get easier for them with time to heal their hearts. Jesus is the one that calls us to home and no one else.

The Royal Family was very blessed to have had Prince Philip as its head. I saw an interview with Prince Philip's cousin(she was also the Queen's cousin) Princess Alexandra, she told when Prince Philip had taken Prince Charles to boarding school after he had dropped him off he came back to Prjncess Alexandra's house he went straight in and fixed himself a drink. Prince Philip told the Princess" I needed that." He said "that was the hardest thing I have had to do." She said Charles never knew that until she told him not too long before his father died. Prince Philip was a very caring man, for his family, his patronages, for the military, and the love if his life, the Queen.

Why is Hazbeen there? He made his grandfather’s last days a nightmare

Prince Philip was a man of many talents, and would've gone on to achieve a lot regardless, on his own, even if he hadn't married the Queen.

Philip was the quintessential house husband and he did it well, yes he was tough but so where my parents and grandparents. He made some incredibly bad slip ups in his life time, but you show me someone who hasn't and I will sell you a bridge. Life is for living and he lived his watching him on his trap and horses was always a sight to see. Philip is marmite you either like him or you don't.

Did Hazbeen really say 'authentic'? He hastened his grandfather off to his grave and has the cheek to sit there and call him that, what a pathetic tribute to a man like he will never be.

I thought his grandparents were all about inflicting misery... It was nice of them to include the runaway prince who was telling lies about his family while his grandfather lay dying.

What a wonderful, moving documentary. Very touching. I was crying throughout it. I just wish that Catherine had been included, and more of Lady Louise, and Anne, too, instead of one ungrateful and spoilt redhead, who didn't deserve to be included at all! I feel that haz has been included just to improve his image. Too late, Royal Family, too late: the world has already seen his uncovered, real image, not brushed-up and polished by BP PR and aides. His shows his true colours When he said that misses his grandfather, it's like a slap in the face. Where was his respect and love for the man while he was alive and on his deathbed? I don't think that she-who-will-not-be-named would be up to her antics, supported by HazBeen, if the HRH Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh was still with us. He would've put an end to that nonsense before it got off the ground. I felt devastated for the Queen, and almost as sad for my country.
