@@sniffadoghq My Dad was there with 4-2 Brought a commie hat back the he'd shot though the head . Played with it as a kid hole at the front next to red star and exit hole at back, inside was full of grey matter. It ended up in Eastney Marine Museum. Is there any way of being able to get some more information on this video, when it was made, who the RMs were that were in it etc. We believe that Paddy could be my Grandfather. He died aged 26 in 1952 in Malta and was a 45 commando so hard to find much info and we only have a few photos to go by. Any info on where to go would be greatly appreciated.
The villagers look like Indians. May be this was filmed somewhere between India and Burma, during the Allied campaign against the Japanese in Burma. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
