I disagree. I'm not sure that they want the glory and honor. This is what they were born to do. It may seem a ridiculous anachronism to many, but to others, it's just the way things are. The Brits have a system incomprehensible to many, particularly here in the USA, but it is 1000 years old. More recently the Royals are actually WORKING. I can't tell you exactly how it works, but I believe the Princess Royal supports over 200 charities. There is much to admire about them, if you want to see it.

The police were involved and the calls were traced back to Kensington Place and Diana's phone. You can research this. Her many lovers are a matter of record, some married. I don't take pleasure in apprising you of this but Diana was no saint. Diana would never have been Queen. Diana brought her own baggage to the marriage so with or without Camilla the marriage was doomed.
Diana had her fair share of home wrecking. Had numerous affairs with married men,and it ended their marriages. She is not innocent. It takes two to ruin a marriage. Too true & well said. I respect Queen Camilla, she didn’t destroy the Monarchy. She could have Flaunt their Love, but she stay back in the Wings for the right moment.
