I know it really heartwarming that people follow tradition and protocol by coutsying to the higher member of the Royal. Pilipino has similar tradition we touch the hand or our elder to our forehead as a sign of respect.

Bows and curtsies when being presented on a one to one basis and also on occasions like Coronations and formal ceremonies, but a wave is fine for things like Royal Ascot
Curtsies are normally reserved for meeting the Royals face to face. But the Curtsies from the crowd showed a lovely respect for the Cown even though it wasn't strictly necessary. I thought it was a wonderful touch of respect from the crowd.
I would appreciate if you do not mention any members from Andrew's Family. I think better they disappear from the Royal Family radar. The reasons are:- Andrew is a disgrace his association with Ephstein His 2 daughters once spoken Princess Catherine has No Royal Blood so They do not respect her. They are rude and snobbish. What a disgrace compare to their Grandma the late Queen Elizebeth. If Queen Elizebeth can accept Princess Catherine who are they to snub her. Princess Catherine is the most loved member of the Royal Family inspite of her Cancer. Princess Catherine is a graduate that prove her intelligence. She is Not a dumb beauty. But a beauty with Brains.
