This is my first time hearing about the couplw. Those kids have fun things to tell their grandkids. Royal weddings are fun to view! I wish there were subtitles.
You can tell they are absolutely in love. Despite any nervousness from the public wedding they are very much in love and comfortable with each other. It seems a lot of royal families appear fake but this wedding and this couple appear genuine.

BlueSwampyCraft She is a countess--in fact at them time of the wedding it was remarked that this was the first royal wedding in a while where the bride was a noble.
smurfnm156 I had heard something like that but I wasn't sure. Thank you :) . I also know that queen Mathilde of Belgium comes from a noble family or smth...is it true?
Patricia Beninato Mathilde herself was born with the title of 'jonkvrouwe' which you can compare with the title of Lady in English or 'Junker' in German. Her mother was a countess as well before marrying. Her maternal grandmother was a Polish princess. Countess de Lannoy had also only noble family. Her father was count, her mother was 'jonkvrouwe' or lady. But her maternal grandparents were a baron and a countess.
+Dunsapie Because in the entrance hall before you get to the main altar there is a door on your left that leads to a court. Once you walk down that court there is another door on your right that goes out to the small space in front of the main entrance of the cathedral Notre Dame de Luxembourg....and then you just walk in tgrough the main door....As simple as that...A luxembourger living in exile in Thailand...Greetings...Hope I was helpful...
Alexis Bonifacio The language is Germanic but NOT German. It's one of the three national languages of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: In English, the language is called Luxembourgish (Lëtzebuergesch in local idiom). The other official languages are French and German.
The music is simply outstanding. I don't see anyone from England. Whats' with that. Anyway, this is a beautiful ceremony, the music, and of course, the French is beautiful too
The heir to his father's title is the Prince of Wales. If or when the Prince of Wales becomes king, the title will merge with the Crown though and become extinct. It has been decided that the title of Duke of Edinburgh will be recreated then for Prince Edward (the current Earl of Wessex).
BucyKalman That, if true, would mean an entirely new creation of the Edinburgh title. The 1947 creation would end with Prince Philip's passing. Edward's titles would then be The Duke of Edinburgh (new), Earl of Wessex and Viscount Severn (both current). James would then be known as The Earl of Wessex (he is presently using the Severn title). The Wessexes usually represent the UK at royal weddings and such.
BucyKalman When the Prince of Wales becomes King, then William automatically the Duke of Cornwall (This title was created to give the heir-apparent his own income). The Wales titles (Prince of Wales and Earl of Chester) will have to be regranted.

So do not follow this proxy Gideon. I’m keeping something running just invade spaces. Keep house clean please. Priority one. And make sure money is secure. But don’t follow. Write and break chain through this codex.
Luxemburg is Dutch more then Deutsch my confused German narrator. They like the Dutch Royal House are both Nassau. ⬅Yes German in origin,...but like the British Royal House, we all divorced you.
Andrew Thompson I don't believe they are bowing to the flag....but to a "monument" to the 'fallen' citizens of Luxembourg during wars and plagues and such. If they were bowing to the flag…they are doing so out of respect for the hosting nation. Same reason that during the Olympics, regardless of where they are held….everyone gets up when the national anthem is played. Respect.
What is the name of the processional work, that she goes down the aisle to? I am not familiar with it, but just heard it played after the funeral of Barbara Bush.
