I think the way they capture how couples can find it difficult to communicate with each other is superbly convincing, Its always so well acted this show. Denise and Jim are so alike with how lazy they are its comical. Glad you're enjoying Josh.....Tenner - Ten pounds - £10

The reason I love this show and always go back to it, I’ve lived this exact episode. So many nights as a kid of my mam and dad acting like this. Then as I’ve gotten older I know my wife and I have probably had our share of nights like this.

Im from Stockport not far from from Caroline Ahearn. Its very true to life in a lot of ways. Im willing to bet money that this show will make you cry eventually. Theres another show called Early Doors you should check written by Craig Cash. same type of humour but set in a pub.

Not on the same network as millionaire… This was on the BBC millionaires on ITV… But in England this was probably the most popular quiz show at that time… What many families would’ve been sitting around…! I suggest you watch Catchphrase which is a quiz show… You need to watch the one with Roy Walker who is an iconic Irish comedian and presenter… God rest his soul! He’s a legend! It makes it much funnier when you realise how bad the impression that Dave was doing was!

Millionaire is on a different network, ITV, royle familly is a bbc production. I dont think Americans could relate to this. Maybe im wrong. Its 9/10 here. Peace

It's a running gag in sitcoms...the wife that has to put up with the husband's absolute bullsh*t, but he tries his best and fails miserably. In terms of the rights of everything they watch on the TV, it's made to be very realistic in terms of what people watch at that time, regardless of channel/network. You'lll see shows from BBC (1&2), ITV (channel 3) and Channel 4, maybe even 5.

Hiya Josh, I think you would like Catchphrase, I'm suprised one of the American networks didn't take it, the original presenter Roy Walker presented the show from 1986 to 2002 (ish), you need to watch it, this episode of Royal Family wasn't that funny in my opinion, my Dad is like Jim and I'm like Anthony, my sister Tracey is like Denise, in reality in other words, The whole family revolves around Tracey (or Denise), cant wait for the next episode of The Royal Family, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England
