At the end of the Second World War, there were millions of German people expelled from lands that the army had taken during the conflict. But the death toll of these forced movements was in the millions, however inside of the Czech city of Usti nad Labem there was a horrific massacre of German people. Some Germans were thrown in the river and were shot at, and others were beaten to death. This showed the anger that many had towards Germans post war, and dozens were slaughtered.
