It was so nice to sit a spell, stitch and watch you both. Such fun to see all the crow charts and patterns. Definitely need to add a few to my Autumn stitching.
I love watching you take out all the patterns for fall stitching. I really like the wool pattern booklets. I think I'll sit down for a spell and look and see what's in my stash!
Nice watching you ladies on a hot summer afternoon. I’m ready to cast a Spell for more time needed to be stitching. So many beautiful patterns. I need to look at it as part of this hobby is collecting.
Thank you for another enjoyable flosstube. Enjoyed both the adoption story and the pilot story along with the beautiful cross stitch. It is very hot here in Colorado. Stay cool. Need a spell of coolness.
Hi Carol. Yes we are melting in Kansas also. But I’m certainly not ready for winter. Thank you for watching. I hope to visit again soon. Happy stitching ❤😊
Thanks so much Carol. My son in Colorado is very happy they got a new air conditioner last month. He's a do-it-yourselfer and started working on it at the end of last year so it was not working until June.
@@Roberta.SABLEStitchers Hi Roberta!! Normally it rains in the afternoon like 1 pm. Some days it is a fast big portion of water and others it lasts like 3 hours but not so strong. So, umbrella ☔️ always ready!! Regards!!🥰
Such a pleasure to see both of you!! Thank you for sharing all of your crow patterns. I really am hoping to get some crow stitching done this year. I am feeling overwhelmed with all the stitching I want to do but, I am struggling with not enough hours in a day. I appreciate the both of you for taking time to share all of your beautiful stitching!! By the way so many great little stitches in the BBD spell book!! ❤
Roberta, I loved hearing about the adoption story! It is so wonderful that the children are safe and secure now. So many cute crows!! I really enjoyed all of the patterns you have in your stash! I look forward to meeting and seeing you both at the Midsummer Stitch event!
It was the happiest end to any of my CASA cases. I hope you enjoyed the Midsummer Stitch event! It was a busy Saturday for me but I would have loved to spend more time with everyone.
I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos and listening to you both. I never thought about stitching crows for the Fall, but after watching today, I think you put a spell on me and now I am searching thru my charts looking for a few to stitch. I also am ready to get stitching on my Fall wips from last year and get them finished. Have a great week!
Love your floss tubes! I am a new subscriber and love seeing your interactions and thanks for sharing your stitching! Stay cool and spell! also love the riddles and jokes!
Hello Ladies, So lovely to spend the afternoon with you both, sorry to hear it’s so warm, that’s reminds of my sister when we’re growing up , running around chasing each other on a summers day and I said to her I’m too tired and sweaty to run anymore , are you not sweating? To which she replied, “ ladies don’t sweat, they perspire “ I think she was about 6 years old because was around 9, lol, Now days we are lucky if we get a dry spell never mind a sunny one.
Oh that’s hilarious. I was at TMobile a few minutes ago and I was perspiring bucket loads. Haha. Thanks for watching. We have a 110 heat index today. I’m going to stitch the afternoon in a cool stitching spot. Hope you can too. ❤😊
Hello Ladies! I’m looking forward to stitching at your table during Midsummer! I love crows, but not all over my lawn, cawing.😂 I especially liked the wool appliqué you showed, Roberta. Linnie, yay, you brought another happy convert to cross stitch into the fold.
Loved the jokes and laughed😂 Thanks for the crow parade, saw a few have not seen before. Would like to cast a spell to have low dew points rest of summer.Love your America pillow Roberta. Enjoy your videos and look forward to them.
Hi Rhonda. Thank you for watching and your kind comments. I agree with the weather. It would be nice if the humidity was lower than the temperature whew!!!!! Hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. ❤
Thanks so much Rhonda! I'm not a fan of the humidity either. We are lucky that it's usually lower in the evenings so that's when I prefer to work in the garden.
Oh me too Frankie. I live all the change of colors. When I add orange to my decor it just makes it pop plus there are so many cute patterns. Good luck 🍀 ❤😊
How wonderful that your grandsons want to spend time with you Linnie, I think that is marvellous, loved the video even the hiccups, between light and heat, oh dear I do hope it cools for you soon, we definitely do not have that issue, i keep wondering when Summer is actually going to arrive, but we did get a short spell of sun this afternoon.
Enjoyed my first FT (& subscribed) with you ladies & love all of the crow charts. Wrote down many for my wish list. Thank you for the opportunity to cast a spell for my name to be pulled. 🐦⬛
Hi and welcome to our little tribe. We are so happy you enjoyed our flosstube. We love to share and inspire and hope to leave you with a smile. Good luck in the drawing. Happy stitching. ❤😊
Love the blue house on your Blackbird singing in the dead of night and the gingham matches perfectly, that itty bitty frog steer is a big nuisance, glad you have got shot of him, I hope I don’t see him for a long spell because he is reluctant to leave sometimes. Hope you cool off real soon.
Ladies I was very very excited to hear you are going to be hosting a table on Midsummer stitch! ❤. This will be my very first ever cross stitch event! I may be under a Spell after that? Ha ha. Thank you for your videos. See you soon.
“Cooking and cleaning can wait 'till tomorrow, For babies grow up, I've learned to my sorrow. So settle down, cobwebs, and, dust, go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby 'cause babies don't keep." Stitched this as a crewel kit back in the '70s - a very long time ago and far, far away. But so many precious memories. Thanks for the reminder.
I might have squealed when you mentioned coming to Springfield Aug. 10 to stitch with the Ozark Mtn. Stitchers! I’m going to get to meet you!!👏👏👏 I loved the parade of Crows! So many great patterns! Happy stitching!❤
My friend and I are stitching American Welcome and she came up with a great rhyme so we don’t use the word “thee” 🤪. This land we love from sea to sea We honor those that keep us free
Hi Mary Lou. You would love wool appliqué. It is really easy and you have a quick finish. There are a lot of tutorials on RU-vid but if you have any questions please let us know. Enjoy the rest of your summer ❤😊
It was nice meeting you ladies at Midsummer Stitch. I enjoyed watching your video. You ladies are a joy to watch. I am looking forward to your next videos. Spell is a beautiful booklet full of charts.
Roberta I had no idea you were born in Davenport! I was as well ( Mercy Hospital ) and grew up in Pleasant Valley and lived there until I was married. I am blessed to live within about one hour of Be Stitch Me in Moline IL my "local" LNS as well as the Little Red Hen in Muscatine IA. Love your Grand Ole Flag Finish!! Lovely!! I feel like we are neighbors visiting over a cup of coffee when I watch your flosstubes! Horses have always had a spell on me, I brought my first pony home at 11 after spending the summer babysitting and earning enough money to buy him myself and my parents finally realized how much I love and still do have a horse even at the age of 61!
I was also born at Mercy! We moved away before I was in school so I have only a few memories from there but my sister has returned faithfully for her high school reunions.
Your crow projects are fantastic!!! You reminded me of see many patterns I have in my stash. Yay! Hope to stitch with you both at the Midsummer Stitch on Saturday. 😊
You both cast a SPELL on stitchers every time I watch your videos. I have a good friend who loves Halloween and stitches and quilts many items in this season. Thanks for sharing all your crow patterns which I loved seeing but still have haunts after watching the movie BIRDS as a teenager and duck down if I see flocks of birds today.
Haha Sharon. I watched BIRDS through a hole in the blanket I had covered up in. I was just a teenager too. Thanks for watching today. I’m hope your liked our ‘murder of crows’. Ps. I love to stitch Halloween. Take care and happy stitching. ❤😊
Thanks so much Linda! I was just remembering that we had wallpaper in the dining room of our first house that was a very similar color and I liked it then as well!
Accidently left this comment on Comfort Stitching channel by Jackie; Linnie are you trying to cast a spell over us!? I'm just sure you've shared that pilot and seeing eye dog story before! Now i've gotta go back and look at your last video again. Or did i just listen twice!! 😂 Roberta, I went to see my grandgirls for the 4th of July weekend and i had a great drive there and back and tons of fun while with them, my daughter, and son in law. He spoiled us girls really good with a long 2 hour personal fireworks show! We still miss our little Willow Dear but her tree is growing really nice next to their lovely garden full of various tomatoes and lots of other goodies and flowers too. I'm so proud of my sweet little Michigan Clan! They have worked so hard through their grief and their little home is just a mini paradise. Many endless Thanks to you ladies and every one else who has sent even one pray or good wish their way. 🎉💗
I've left comments on the wrong video as well. I blame it on how quickly RU-vid switches from one video to another. I'm so sorry for your loss Kristina. I'm glad you were able to see your family over the 4th and made such good memories. Our son went to University in Michigan so we spent several summers traveling up and down the west side; so pretty in the summer.
Hello friends. I always love to sit for a spell and stitch while I watch you. Wow to all those crows, so many pretty ones. Loved to see them, now you only have to stitch them. Lol. Syay cool. Its 103 in Oklahoma, so the heat is on. Hugs.
I usually love summer -- but I live in Houston and right now -- I am over it! I have been craving fall and even started drinking my pumpkin flavored coffees! I recently completed the Teresa Kogut crow that is in the 2024 Nashville Cookbook (which is adorable!) and now the crows have a spell on me too -- going to do another crow stitch. Thanks for sharing your collection! Happy stitching xoxo
That's a cute design. Did it take long? I certainly don't need to add another thing but it would be nice to stitch something from one of the cookbooks I've collected.
Thanks for posting about the Midsummer Stitch! I hadn't heard of it yet, so that's perfect for my weekend plans (I am venturing out in the DC heat only to attend my SIL's birthday gathering and for nothing else! It's grossly hot here, and I usually like summer.)
Also, I was supposed to have a Halloween wedding in October 2020 that was rescheduled to spring 2022, but I kept referring to my bridesmaids as my Murder of Crows.
Funny about your bridesmaids. My friend's daughter is a huge Halloween fan and was married on that day a few years ago. We are so fortunate to be having a break from all the heat for a few days. So lovely!
I hope you had a chance to join in. I hope we did ok. It was so much fun. Thank you Stephanie Webb (Lindy’s Stirches) for putting it together. Stay cool. ❤😊
Thanks for sharing all your crow patterns! I wasn’t a crow stitcher but seeing yours in the past, I am stitching one now and enjoying it! A spell for sure! 😁❤
Another great fun video ladies. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful stitching and all the crow charts. Love them all. You put a spell on me. 🧵🪡✂️🧵
Showing the Loose Feathers threesome, I have to share. I’m a stitcher from when all you could get was 14 count white Aida and DMC. I stopped stitching for quite a few years, opting for quilting, preparing for retirement and poor eyesight. Well, as many have experienced, the shock of picking up stitching again with all the linen, evenweave, colored various counts of Aida, floss galore…..my sister sent me the three Loose Feathers you have for my birthday. Off I went to The Attic for linen. I didn’t know anything about linen and evenweave but Carolyn graciously cut me a piece of linen and home I went to stitch. I made it through and have my beautifully framed piece on my wall. I tried other linen but decided to stay with Aida. I’m 81 and talk about a stash beyond life expectancy, I need to stitch as fast as possible! Love your videos…you two are a kick. Makes my day when a new video pops up.
Hi Patricia. I’m so happy you shared with us. Wasn’t that that exciting to see how stitching has changed. That’s what happened to me during Covid. I have been quilting from the 90s or so and when I saw all the newer patterns I went down the rabbit hole. I’m working on an 18 count project tonight. I love the look of linen but my eyes are getting older and I find Aida is just more fun. I have done 36 and I like it but it takes more concentration. Congratulations on finishing Loose Feathers. I’m sure it is stunning. Celebrate your 81 years and do what you like. I wish you many more happy stitching times.
We were just in Yellowstone and saw LOTS of Ravens. They are enormous (a range said it’s because they steal people food) and very CHEEKY. I was planning on joining you for Midsummer Stitch, but unfortunately, we have a a family funeral this weekend. Maybe next time! Keep cool and happy stitching!
What a wonderful video! I love stitching crows one of my favorites besides sheep. Love the spell book its one I don't have. Those needle love books have beautiful stuff in there. Glad to have spent some time with you both today.
Hi Heidi. Oh Thank you for sharing. It was one of my first stitches in 2020. I passed on my patterns back then and didn’t keep a journal. Much smarter these days haha. Please share your pattern when you get done. Happy stitching ❤😊
