Fully agree , trade the first round pick in a package for a 3rd line centre or some VETERAN abrasiveness and grit for the bottom 6 forward group . It will be interesting to see how Skinner does on the 3rd line under Ruff this season. Maybe Skinner removes his NMC this summer and Adams can try and trade him. Question is will any GM take on Skinners contract. Agree , go with UPL and Levi next season but get a veteran for Rochester like Martin Jones , just in case of injury.

I think we have to trade the first rounder and a prospect. I hope they hold on to Savoie. He and Benson will be a big impact I believe. All other prospects to me, are expendable. It makes no sense to buy Skinner out, he is still productive (not 9mil productive) but no one else is gonna take him at that price so we have to live with it for another year or 2. One thing Buffalo need this season that cannot happen again, is to have a respectable special teams. Another point I would like to bring up is the way Granato handled Greenway. I think he played him in situations he shouldn't have been played in. PK yes, PP not really. I hope Ruff and Appert find a groove for him.

I do hope UPL can continue his decent play. Some grit would be sweet and how about a player that can win multiple face-offs would help as well. Playoffs no ifs ands or buts !!!
