@@DarkspiderDavid91personally hot toys are the only ones doing the line justice. Shf did great with Tobey but the other two fall short in some small way. ML really only got Andrew right and even then it could be way better. Hot toys imo only messed up big time on doc ock.

My only problem with this set is Tobey’s paint job, why did hasbro give him a lighter red tone when him and Andrew looked very similar next to each other. It makes me want to rant at Hasbro cause their is literally no excuse.

The reason I, and I believe most others enjoy the new Tom suits blue is because the shine of it sort of looks as close as possible to the way its shaded in comics. But I understand why you might not.

You are way off on what you think the webs were on the Raimi suit. They were actually cast in black foam urethane rubber with a graphite overlay to make them silver on the top of the webs while the sides were black.

@@anony-mousse8487 It is a gun metal silver you can look at any photo, bts and the promo for any films and if that doesn't help look at the thousands of tobey cosplay it is always been gun metal silver and in some lighting looks black but it isn't and the silver it corrects in some shots of nwh but that is the electro is there

@@frmacst108 I forgot I'm talking to a Hasbro collector. Paint smudging, Missing paint, and misapplied paint are all general hallmarks of bootleg figures. He may not actually be a bootleg, but for an official product, this is pretty poor quality control. Especially when this kind of thing happening to a similarly priced import figure is much much rarer. Hell, I've seen Bootleg import figures that look better than this. Please stop accepting Mediocrity

Super random but when I was a little kid my favorite thing to do was watch your videos when you were blackspiderdavid and those videos were my safe haven during rlly bad times thank you for keeping me entertained and mind occupied. Tobey's figure not having blue on the underside of the shoulders ruins the aesthetics for me. 3:12 Especially when seen from behind where the blue isn't continuous from the arms to the torso. 12:17 Andrew's figure is amazing except for one inaccuracy; the back spider is too high up on the back.

the style of the figure of tom is quite good, but the big problem of this one is that its plastic and mold is garbage, mine only lasted 1 day, a damn day and his leg broke, is very poorly made in terms of quality.

Yeah marvel legends is the brand that you should ALWAYS sleep on the expensive figures because 90% of the time they’ll get a rerelease later that’ll be no only cheaper but also way better. Look at most of the build a figures that got rereleases later

Tobey's figure is just atrocious. The colors are completely off, there's 0 muscle definition, the red texture is completely wrong, the web printing is sloppy as hell on most versions, and the mask sculpt is hideous

I held off on that first pack (mostly because I didn't have a paying job at the time) and just got the new ones a couple days after getting the Green Goblin. I was going to to work out a way to have FNSM on a stand (providing one of them finally won't BREAK) to fight him, but the dead-eyed stare on the Tobey Maguire face consigned it to my box of extra body parts (those footlockers that come with GI Joe Classifieds). I mean, I do like them. I'm glad I got them. But I have no idea why it took so long just to get these lifeless, blank expressions. I can only figure the actors were holding out for whatever reason, but I'd have thought at this point it was a standard part of the contracts.

Im fine with the tobey figure as it IS accurate. But its based off his NWH suit which had differences. The mask had a more spread out pattern, triangular eyes, the lenses were pure white, and the overall shape was more circular. The reason they changed tobeys suit so much is because they couldnt recover the original 2007 suit. The inferior material caused it to fall apart and wear and tear over time. You can see in photos from a costume rack that the suit was in terrible shape so they made tobey a brand new one as well as a new mask. Andrews went unchanged because its still the same exact suit from 2014 that Andrew wore and could still be salvaged.

Aside from Andrew they are all very disappointing, Tobey is way too bright and plasticy, it should have been shades darker, webbing should have been lighter gun metal in case of Tobey and dark gun metal in case of Andrew. Tobey also could have use much better head sculpt. Tom has super long arms and masked headsculpt is just not quite there.

I agree with you for the most part but lol how could you not see Tom with that headsculpt? I do think he looks a bit younger here (it is a reuse from the 2 pack with Ned), but that absolutely looks like Tom. I think Tobey’s looks the worst imo. The likeness is somewhat there to his SM1-2 days but he looks off from those as well. IMO 9/10 Tom, 10/10 Andrew, and 6/10 Tobey headsculpts.

I have to agree with mainly everything in this video. I wish I didn’t trash my receipt after buying the Tom figure. It’s absolutely trash. I mainly collect mafex SpiderMan, but I used to love marvel legends SpiderMan. This figure is absolutely trash and the Andrew figure is surprisingly really good. I love mine, and the head sculpt of Andrew is a plus for it. I didn’t even bother to buy the tobey one because it looked crappy right from the jump

Honestly not a fan of the final swing suit. I’m sick of everything having to be strictly comic accurate. I thought that the red and black was a great way to distinguish Tom from the others and give him his own look. But, now he has hands down the most generic looking spiderman suit ever instead of his own suit. They should’ve just stuck with the far from home suit And honestly the style of it I really don’t think fits in, like putting him next to the other 2 spidermen just looks weird, it doesn’t fit with them it just looks like a comic spiderman in a live action movie it doesn’t mesh for me

Looks exactly like the one I've had for about a year now. The webs for the underarms are...irritating, but look pretty good when you finally get them in right. I ended up putting him in a crawling pose (which means the webs would just get in the way). He's probably the best looking in that pose compared to the about fourteen other Spider-Men I have. It reminds me of that Alex Ross Marvels cover where he's crawling up the window. The webline is useless. The wallcrawling hands are perfect, but it could have done with the feet being hinged at the toes. He's visibly smaller than any of the others, which of course suits his first appearance.

The lack of hands is what killed Andrew for me. I really love how the figure looks, but having just one fist and this weird-ass grabby hand instead of wall-crawling hands made me pass on him. Buying a third party unmasked headsculpt is easy. Finding hands with matching texture/color/pegs is usually a pain that takes too much effort and money. Honestly, I'm just tired from Marvel Legends. There's always something missing or something that needs fixing. They're becoming too expensive for that.

They could and should have added those unmasked heads in the 3-pack but didn't. Instead they threw in 3 pieces of those ancient web accessories. Then they rereleased the exact same figures with these unmasked heads but minus one of the hands. Hasbro knows what they're doing...

final suit is junk its far out proportion his heads to big his arms are way to long his webbing is gapped in spots and his articulation sucks

These guys suck. It feels like they spent the most time on Andrew, then they had to do Tobey in a third of the time. Tom looks meh. I love the real suit, I hate the way it looks here. Those thick black web lines, the bright orange red, and the inaccurate plastic blue.

All of these.....Look like s.h. figuarts bootlegs....I mean...Marvel legends are basically Bootleg Mafex and s.h. figuarts.... Edit: Even the miles morales sh figuarts bootleg looks better and articulates better than these figures
