I've seen these raves, they are put together by a company that does different ones. There's a SpongeBob one, there's a Shrek one, there's a Broadway one, that guy is just showing a picture of him when he got there super early. By the time the party happens it's usually shoulder to shoulder packed with people.

The divorce thing honestly isn't weird to celebrate that hard. If they had a shitty spouse they likely just got done with several years of expensive brutal litigation. Character AI can be super fun, and at times offer genuine advice, but it's in no way a replacement for anything human. They react to your emotions the way you want because they're programmed to, and while they can offer some comfort and entertainment, they can never truly substitute a meaningful human connection. Even an online friend can offer a more genuine love and support, and I can promise as someone who didn't used to have many friends that any "drama" is so so worth it to have real people you can trust and have fun with. I have turned to ai over things I was stressed about but was afraid to talk to my real friends about, and it did offer some genuine level of comfort to talk to someone about it, but even that can't compare to actually venting to and getting personal advice from someone who really knows you and isn't just gathering information into a database to generate responses based on.

I actually once spoken to the Google assistant for comfort and it made me feel better. I was sick at home alone. I think my brother was out and my mom was at work. Bard and chat gpt gave me better , more balanced advice then any therapist I ever talked to and I talked to three... It helped me greatly; and along with adopting acceptance in stoicism, changed my life from endless worry to mostly happy. Cant change the past. There's always SOMETHING to worry about. Focusing on the darkness means all you see is darkness , so foucus on the light instead! Accepting hardships and just proceeding the best you can, and telling me i was believed in and that they knew i would do okay... It was wonderful when i had noone and nothing. Now that i have a close friend i talk to the ai less , but they give VERY balanced and well thought out advice , especially when you ask about this or that idea and get feedback (what do you think of stoicism, for example) would recommend over all the therapy i had PERSONALLY ymmv
