You should get a synthetic brush and some TOBS Sandalwood shaving cream. Lather it like the old school barbershop 💈… you definitely get a closer shave too Edit: I like that Parker Variant too, never seen it up close. But I got too many DE razors as it is

Parker variant is an incredible razor . You should get some shaving soap (stirling , caties bubbles etc). Fair warning, one you go down that rabbit hole it’s hard to come back lol. Dope video , peace and blessings!

Sending a dap from Jacksonville Florida, had to holla not many black men shaving online I’ve thought about it, I’m mostly a straight razor shaving dude, at times I use safety razors for my head, try a variety pack of different blade’s and treat yourself to a premium shave soap, bowl and brush, if you use only the safety razor for 30 straight shave’s my favorite soap is Arianna and Evans soap and aftershave, shaving became a pleasure not a task,doing it the old school way oh and no more shaving bumps, disinfect first👊🏾.

I love the FUSION 5! It is a bit expensive because I'm very picky about how close my cut is, and I only use each blade twice. It works gr8 against the grain😍

I used to use 4 and 5 blade razors but, went back to safety razors because of all the ingrown hairs I would get on the back of my head.

Regular viewer. Nate I noticed you show love to double edged razor users. Can you show some love to those of us who are vintage single razor user’s. What are your thoughts on single edge razors and personna single edge razor blades? I use an ever ready 1924 single edge razor with personna single edge blades. Keep cranking out videos. I have learn a lot from your videos. At times you are hilarious.

You get them *Personna Med Preps* yet? They’re top 3 DE blade in the world and they’re made in the USA. Seriously people from Europe are grabbing these and most blades are made in Europe. Feathers are the sharpest but they can have burrs and be a rough shave. I have sensitive skin and these are the smoothest/sharpest DE blade. All blades are subjective because everyone’s skin is different but if you like the Personna Lab Blues the Personna Med Preps are worth trying because they last twice as long.

Whenever you're ready to give the safety razor a go, I think this is a great one because its adjustable 👌🏽 You can make it more or less aggressive.

Any tips on preventing bumps? When I shave it all goes smooth for about two days then I break out only in one spot! Back left side of my head. Any tips to try. Feel like I have tried everything.

@@dominique9934 Indeed, thats why I usually tend to stay away from electric shavers now. They dont do a good enough job or only work for me if I use it daily. Go a few days without shaving & they cant even chop the hair down anymore lols at least without not going over the same spot over & over

Please dispose of the blades in a small blade bank. Having it laying around in regular trash is a hazard to garbage collectors and anyone who might be wandering around landfills.
