You'd be surprised, when you intake an insane amount of calories like this all at once, your body tends to purge a large portion of it. As for the cutting/burning of your mouth, your mouth is one of the fastest healing parts of your body.

I didn't have my Salt & Vinegar chips revelation until middle school all those years ago. I saw so many students getting a snack sized bag of the lays brand salt and vinegar chips and I thought "Why would ANYONE want to eat chips of that flavor?!"
